many philosphies, religions, ideologies...but which one makes the most sense about what will be the medium of existence after death?

the greek word "adelphos" of the original New Test. means Brother, But not in modern sense. It was also used to represent many close relationships like cousins, nephews, friends, etc.

According to Jewish law, the oldest son (Jesus,a good jewish man) had the responsibility of caring for the widowed mother, and that responsibility would pass to the next oldest if anything happened to the first-born son (cruxifiction) By this time, St. Joseph has died. Since Jesus, the first born, had no “blood brother(s),” He entrusted Mary to the care of St. John, the Beloved Disciple. questions>>comments??

Alright, I'm taking all bets! The distant deadly archer vs. the "so-called savior" of mankind. Keep in mind that Apollo is the lord of the silver bow, has gone toe to toe with Pallas Athena, and can rain plagues on entire civilizations. As far as I know, Jesus can turn water into wine and die. So let it begin, cast your votes!

Tell which Church?

Jesus only founded one Church. So I ask, tell which Church? Which Church is this bible passage telling us to go to?

"If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church. If he refuses to listen even to the church, then treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector." -The Holy Bible (Matthew 18:17)

Much of the Arab League has condemned Hammas and Hezbollah! Is Islam going through a reformation, a recognition of the necessity to live in peace with the rest of the world, including Israel, and coming into the 21st century with us! I cheer! Are there any other signs, not including all the denial and excuses I still see on Yahoo! Answers for terrorist behavior, that Islam is maturing and joining the rest of us? Am I right? Is the revolution on for those of us who love Islam but hate terrorists!

Someone you care deeply about is in the hospital dying. There is nothing more the doctors can do. they have run out of options. Would you pray? I'm not talking about any specific religion or anything like that just the act of praying to a higher power. Or would you accept the fact that there is nothing more to do and let them die.
Is having hope a bad thing?
I truly don't mean any disrespect. I'm curious and I value your insight on this.

I grew up in a non christian home. My husband grew up in a very religous home. His mother was a preacher. I want to believe in god so bad. I have heard so many wonderful things. I have problems believeing some of it, and i have doubts. I want to know how to believe and trust in god without having doubts cross my mind. I have been struggling with this for the 19 years that we have been married. Could someone share personal experiences or miracles or such with me. I need to grow in faith.

What are your core beliefs, what are the absolutes in your life that are completely undeniable. The beliefs that no matter what happens your core belief would never be shaken.

For some it might be: God, Science, Family, the Bible, Jesus etc.

What's floating your boat?

my friend and i are having a discussion and he showed me this website http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com... . it shows the bible and where it condradicts it's self and stuff like that. in Matthew 1 "1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS." it's contradition is "'Knew her not till'
Many Christians believe that Mary was always a virgin, but these verses say that she and Joseph 'came together' after the birth of Jesus, their 'firstborn son.' "

I remember hearing that Jesus had siblings...is that true or not??
