Faith Is Needed
Since it is not possible to scientifically demonstrate either evolution or special creation, faith is required to accept either teaching. But faith in the right thing is not wrong. The Bible says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6). "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). A British wit once described "evil lution" as "the substance of links hoped for, the evidence of fossils not seen." How right he was!
Broadly speaking, people fall into one of three categories:
Creationists: Those who believe that a supernatural Being (God) made the universe as recorded in Genesis chapter one. The Church of God International, along with millions of Bible-believing Christians and Jews, falls into this category.
Evolutionists: Those who believe that the universe came into existence billions of years ago and that life on earth evolved of its own accord by some inexplicable power. One does not have far to look to find many who hold this view.
Theistic Evolutionists: The theistic evolutionists attempt to integrate the two doctrines. However, the doctrines of creation and evolution are so strongly divergent that reconciliation is totally impossible. Theistic evolutionists believe that God was involved in the creation, but that He took thousands-perhaps millions or billions (do we hear "trillions"?)-of years to do so. Although many hold this view today, such syncretism reduces the message of the Bible to insignificance. The conclusion is inevitable: There is no biblical support for theistic evolution.
Does It Really Matter What One Believes Concerning the Origin of the Universe?
It matters a great deal what we believe concerning the origins of the universe and of life itself because if the universe and life on earth evolved over billions of years, then:
The Genesis account of creation and the hundreds of Bible verses that refer to the creation are pure fiction. In other words the so-called Holy Bible is, itself, riddled with the very thing it strictly forbids: lies, suppositions, and superstitions.
Virtually all the Old and New Testament writers were deluded-because they all believed in the creation. This would include all the prophets of old, all the apostles, and even Jesus Christ Himself.
If life on earth evolved of its own accord, it would mean that man is not accountable for his actions to a supernatural Being, and that we could make or break so-called "moral laws" with impunity. After all, "if there is no God, there cannot be a Judgment Day. So why bother about moral behavior: let us eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die."
In the final analysis, if evolution is true and the Bible is false, there would be no sin, since there would be no God, no Lawmaker, and no laws to break. It follows that, if there were no laws to break-and the Bible defines sin as "the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4)-there would be no sin. If there is no sin, we would not need a Savior to redeem us from the penalty of breaking those laws (Romans 6:23) and Christ would have died in vain. In short, evolution is a complete denial of everything the Bible stands for.
These are the inevitable conclusions that will flow in the wake of a society that rejects the basic teaching that God created the universe. The matter of origins is very important because society's behavior and destination depend upon it. In his book, Evolution or Creation? (page 2), Henry M. Morris, Ph.D., confirms this point. He writes:
"Each person needs, more than anything, a sense of his own identity and personal goals, and this is impossible without some sense of his origin. What a person comes to believe about his origin will inevitably condition what he believes about his destiny."
Lenin is quoted as saying that religion is the opiate of the people, but the truth is that evolution is the opiate of the atheist!

I'm not taking any issue here either way, I personally believe God would be smart enough to know how to handle thing by either creation or evolution, but the religious right has corrupted the theory or evolution with their spin on it. Darwin stated that all life forms evolved from a lower similar life form through genetic mutation and preferential breading of the species. His proposal stated that all homo-sapiens, apes and humans, evolved from a distant relative and that if the genetic line of a species was traced back far enough all similar species, i.e. mammals, would have some where in the prehistoric past a common ancestor. Humans didn't evolve from monkeys according to evolutions, humans and apes evolved from different branches of the same genetic line.

You obviously don't understand thing one about evolution my dear. First of all, it's not something you "believe in" it's a scientific theory with mountains of various evidence backing it up. And secondly it irritates me to no end when people use the argument you used in your question. The why are monkey's still here argument is used by people who have little to no understanding of how evolution actually works. We didn't evolve from monkeys, we share a common ancestor with monkeys and apes. We both evolved out of the same lineage.

On the other hand the biblical creation account and intelligent design theories have no solid evidence supporting them.

Do some research on the subject before you try to discredit it.

God created everything.

Evolution is a cute little theory, but it's impossible.

There is no way that a fish cralwled out of the ocean and then developed legs over time, then teeth, then fur, then claws, then a tail and so on. Evolution would have to believe everything evolved from a single micro organism that started in the ocean. So, if that's the case, where did gorillas come from? And giraffes? Penguins?

You're telling me all those animals were once a micro organism, then a fish, then a lizard, then one day, BOOM, it's a cheetah. Then the cheetah evolves into a......BOOM koala bear. Then a manatee, then an eagle, then a sperm whale. Yeah, I see the resemblance in all those animals.

Evolution is real, but not like that. A fish might eventually grow larger gills over a long period of time to support its need for more oxygen. A bird's beak might grow smaller over time so it can hunt for worms more easily. But a canary eventually turning into an elephant? Yeah, that's realistic. Nice theory, idiots.

Evolution is just a way for ignorant fools to explain life on Earth because they refuse to believe God had anything do to with it.

"For Instance, If We Evolved From Monkeys and Apes; Then Why Are There Still monkeys And Apes On Earth?"

Humans did NOT evolve from monkeys and apes. Humans have the same ANCESTORS as monkeys and apes. Get your facts straight before posting.

We did not evolve from monkeys and apes. . Why do people keep saying that? We had common ancestors that is why we are all primates. A portion branched out and became humans because they adapted to the conditions and the ones that stayed behind stayed as is. Kind of like asking, if all of us came from black people then why are there still black people around? Each species adapts to surroundings and changes according to the surroundings. The ones that don't usually perishes or stays the same and does not progress.

I cannot believe in the creation theory.

I believe in evolution. Things like adapt, change mutate. Like the bird flu virus has changed where it can now be caught human to human. I think like animals and people adapt to there surroundings. But I dunno if God exists or not. maybe God created the us using evolution. We didn't evolve from monkeys, humans and apes share a common ancestor. I was talking to a friend about why they're are still monkeys and apes he said that maybe some of the apes moved to a different part of the world where the need to change to suit they're surroundings and evolved. Kinda like if American people came from the UK then why are they're still English people?

Why not believe both, god created monkey's and apes, just because we view it as evolution its in the blink of an eye to God. I would say god created the earth the big bangs, the monkeys, and then of course he made you, using evolution.

God created Man and Earth.
its just that the evolution theory doesnt seem to be right. i dont want to think tht my ancestors were apes and monkeys. we are created the way we are. we are created as human, that is a wonderful thing to believe..

so, who created us? its God. And who created God? this might be thrilling to answer, but look at it this way. We are HIS servants, HE is our creator.. we know little about this world... and HE knows everything, down to how many molecules are there inside an ocean. how many creatures are there inside this universe.. what's more, HE knows what HIS every creation is thinking, was thinking, is doing, will do, was doing... this might be what you said the most ideal God. And HE is. Nothing compares to HIM.

And while HE is so ideal, HE give this answer to us. Who created HIM? the answer is HE is so ideal that HE existed by himself!

Say: He is Allah, the One!
Allah, the eternally Besought of all!
He begetteth not nor was begotten.
And there is none comparable unto Him.
(Quran, Al-Ikhlas)

hope this will help.

You have a lot of energy, surprise you don't get headaches, why waste your time on such theories, where is that missing link between man, and apes?We will all be dead and gone before anybody discover that, no ape has ever fruitate from being in infantry to a simple form of human intellectual, why haven't any Darwinist figure this out?Have you heard or know of a perfect "bomb"?No human has created it, just made it worse, only a Supernatural Entity can do this.No human can or will ever come close, we are destructive by our own nature.

When I try to figure it out, I go round and round. I think that the fact that no one has a real answer that can't be questioned shows that there is a higher power. But If you think about it, where did the planets even come from..... and when was the beginning of time? It's all mind-boggling. But God supposedly created Man and Woman first, so when did the dinosaurs exist? Sorry, these are just more questions....I did say I go round and round! I still like to teach my children about God and give the respect due. And It's nice to be able to pray and talk about anything and everything.
