I'm a Christian, but I don't bash others. Real Christians don't do that.
But the same can be said for many people. There are a lot of atheists on here who do nothing but bash Christians.

Wrong. Christians are taught to be accepting of all people. Why do you think the U.S. have no wars inside it's borders? We are a country mostly of Christians. We have mixed religions including muslims and atheists. We all get along just fine here. If you felt attacked you may have said something that offended others and they defended their point of view. There is a difference. Try not to be upset and to take it personal. Some people feel they have to preach and where better to do it when they know you don't know who they are. Let me apologize for them....I'm sorry you felt they bashed you.

Well my friend, I don't think that's a fair statement. I'm christian and I've had bad experiences with other 'christians'. I never bash the hell out of non-christians, because they need to know that I care, before they hear what I know. Even Jesus said that if we love one another the world would know that we belong to Him. I love you in Jesus name, be blessed!

Not all Christians are like that. Because we love you, we want to share the love of Christ that we have found. Some people are a little more forceful, but that is because they believe it so strongly. Maybe if you were more loving toward them instead of bashing them too, there would be more understanding on both sides.

I just don't know what to say honey. I never bash anyone. You seem to have made a decision on how to rate Christians based on some bad experiences. Kinda hurts. Oh well.

"I've noticed if you are not a Christian, Christians bash the hell out of you."

Naw, that's only the phony, self-righteous "Christians". They call themselves Christians, but they are really just judgmental, fanatical, hate-mongering zealots. Unfortunately, those people give the rest of us real Christians a bad name.

It is the nature of all people to "bash" those who are different then themselves. Everyone has a touch of suspicion. One of the most basic themes expressed in both the Old and New Testament is that of loving others.

There are some who do, yes. But it is by no means "all". They're just the ones who make the most noise so you notice them more than the people of whatever religion who DON'T bash people who don't believe the way they do...

It's that mentality of yours that gets you bashed, and not just that you are not a Christian.
