it isn't any longer poor. what's poor is that you've allowed your spirituality to change into contaminated with the religious beliefs of others. Heaven and hell are alternatives you're making from each and each day. One second shall we be in heaven and yet another second shall we be in hell. regularly we exist someplace in between. This all of us understand to be authentic from our personal personal expereince. What all of us study Jesus is from what the Catholic Church determined we should understand even as they placed the bible together some hundred years after Jesus died. all of us understand that the Catholic Church is a company no longer to be relied on. purely at the moment they were actively engaged in protecting pedophiles and allowed the systematic sexual abuse of toddlers bypass unchecked for years. God exist all round us and is purely as a lot contained in the astounding thing about a flower as contained in the bible. The bible isn't God. The bible is a e book. perchance you pick to a thanks to connect spiritually with larger sources so that you're going to under no circumstances be compelled to ask a question like this back. Meditation should be an truly good help.

Because their truth may not be your truth. They might just be tired of being preached to and that is the most effective thing to say to get someone to back off (providing it makes the person back off)

Because not everyone follows a path that believes in hell, eternal damnation, etc. If your friends ask you not to preach or witness to them, the respectful thing to do is to honor their wishes and not do it.

It is an issue of freedom. Many of us would rather die a thousand deaths than surrender our freedom to some almighty god. As an American, this has even more meaning to me. Freedom FROM god. Think about it.

They are just saying that they want to go to hell so you will leave them alone. Just because you believe this fable does not make it so.

Just pray for them... thats the best thing to do for someone who's not open to your witness. I'll pray also. Keep trying! Don't lose hope!
