I am not sure who is he really! I only know that people say that he is bad and done bad things? What is the story or history behind this character? I am not sure and I would love to know why cristians really hate him or why they are afraid of him.

I'm a Christian, and I've been thinking about this problem for some time. That seems to be a question that the Bible never answers. There are reasons as to why he should be worshipped, and how, and its benefits, but there's never a word about why he wants to be worshipped.
What does God get from us gathering in a church once a week and singing praises to Him? There doesn't seem to be any tangible benefit that He can reap from it. Does it give God a boost to his ego? Though I feel a bit guilty saying this, it seems so. As documented in the Book of Isaiah, God has seraphims who declare his greatness without ceasing.
I doubt that that's the reason, but I really can't think of that many reasons. Please answer. Logical answers and/or answers supported by the Scriptures would be greatly appreciated.

How many of you people out there realalize the kind of world we live in today? It is terrible. God did not create this planet to be filled with sin. Some (only some) of the madger problems we have are...

People of all ages having sex before they get married.
People, who have a great spouse, go off and commit adultrey.
Drugs
Alchol
Voilance

That is only a few. There are over a billion out there. But for some reason, NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE! Now, I am not saying that I am perfect. No way! But I am saying that there are a heck of a lot of people who are worse than me, who don't care that they are! People, we need to change the world! We are all running away from God! He can't chase after us, we have to go to him! He is the only possible solution! Please think about what I am saying. Let's try to make this world better, for our sakes and everyone else's!

I used to be the most devoted Catholic, and now I believe in Reincarnation. I made a mistake of reading some material that I never should have read.
I don't miss Catholic Church and their senseless rules, but I miss my love for Christ, his selfless teachings, and the message of love. I am still full of love for anything that breathes, would save anyone and would not hurt a fly (literally), but miss Christ in my life. Do you know any Church or place in a greater Chicago Area or Northwest Indiana where I could hear some good
sermons, or similar? It does not have to be Catholic. Thank you

Some one in a question I posted said everyone in heaven would be constantly worshipping and praising God. What would you be doing? I figure if you worked real hard to get to heaven, it should be your choice of activities when you got there, right? Isn't it paradise? I guess if everyone was constantly worshipping, and praising, I would probably use that time to get into the places in heaven that are usually to crowded to get into on normal days. I would go to the bank, no lines, go shopping, no lines, and probably loot some homes on the way back to my place. If everyone was busy, what better time to loot?

Will Catholicism, Christianity (basically anything that believes in god and jesus) ever be replaced by a new religion that will then become the accepted norm, and if so, what do you think it will be?
