He isn't a woman. Relax.

In Isaiah 9:6-7, it says, Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given. And what is the name of this son? The "Mighty God" in the next verse.

JESUS CHRIST IS: "THE GOD ALMIGHTY"

Isaiah vs 6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Do you see "woman" mentioned in this?

Who said God is a Man? I mean besides the Christians, who believe women are not equal. I think perhaps God could be above the whole gender thing. Even better question, what if God was left handed, would a majority of people be left handed as opposed to right handed?

Last time I checked, god is beyond gender.

So a female god would use pregnancy as some sort of punishment to men? To show that men couldn't handle it? So men would be more understanding to women...who don't have babies? What??

No.
God IS a woman, and she has given women the awesome responsibility of bearing life because she knows that if she left it up to men, the human race would go extinct. Men are wimps when it comes to real pain.

If God was/is a woman, the woman would still have the babies, but that's where her labor would end. After that the husband would take care of the baby, get up to feed it at night, rock it to sleep, take it to school and soccer games, and in his spare time, clean the house and wash her car. Thank God that mankind dodged the bullet on that one though.

I don't know if the sex of a "god" or "the God" would have much to do with it; however, I think if it was going to be more equitable in the responsibilities of bearing a child, it would be a "backpack" kind of thing where either parent could have the fetus and/or baby garner nourishment from whichever parent was then carrying the infant.

God isn't technically man or woman. God is all and both. Women have the babies because that's the way women were created.

In Greek methology there is Goddess, and that doesn't change the role of different sexes. Take more science class, and learn how the human body function. Man cannot have baby, our skeletal makeup doesn't allow us to have even if we have the organ.

And lastly, there ain't no god. It's a human creation and imagination.

Since God created both...with their inherent differences...the question is moot. Your premise is that God has a gender...namely, masculine...this is not accurate. Therefore, you should really be asking whether BOTH men AND women could have babies...a few men actually have 'given birth'....through the magic of modern medicine, not naturally!

Religion was created as a primitive measure of population control. By men. So, by that inherent arrogance of men, all leaders and religious figureheads happen to be male. I am male and I consider this an insult. (Most) gentleness and goodness originate with the female of the species.
