Will Catholicism, Christianity (basically anything that believes in god and jesus) ever be replaced by a new religion that will then become the accepted norm, and if so, what do you think it will be?

Not sure if there will be a next big one...religions as a whole are dying as we become a more enlightened and scientific species...every generation produces more rational thinkers and skeptics who recognize that there is no true religion and that religion has served it's purpose (i.e. run it's course) for humanity...with a little luck, a few millennia from now we'll be all the way there...

Well, I'm sure that Christianity, as well as other major current religions, are here to stay for some time, but religion is never constant. It is always refined, changed, or overthrown. Over history, religion has never been constant for any significant period of time. Also, as you may notice, religion seems to correspond to countries in power.
I absolutely love the good ol' USA, but I know it won't be here forever. Though we have a great system which tries to be unbiased , fair, and true, major countries never last for incredibly long periods. Luckily, the US is fairly young, so it will be here for some time longer, but it won't last forever. For example, as you may or may not know, the Ottoman Empire was a huge empire in Eastern Europe (around Turkey) that ended in the last century (around WWI). So you see, large nations still fall, despite what some think. Therefore, as nations and nationalities change, religions will change.
All I can hope is that the next big religion isn't Scientology (no offense to any Scientologists...).

i dont think Christianity or Catholicism will ever completely die out but i think it will gradually give way to other religions or science, more and more people will stop believing in god.

The next big religion will be worship of the Antichrist, but the sad part is that the Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc. won't know that's what it is because he will convince him that he is Jesus, Yahweh, Allah, Muhummad, etc. all wrapped in one savior.

*sigh*

Some ancient beliefs no longer exist, so no doubt the current mainstream religions will have their successors someday. Though it may be long in the future and maybe it/they doesn't even exist yet.

I don't know the name of it but it will be the religion that was in an episode of "What's Happening". The one where Rerun worships a head of lettuce.
