From the smeely old women siting in the benches for hours and hours at a time. The really need to bleach them to get the smell out.

Churches here in Singapore don't smell fishy. Anyway, the purpose of going to church is to praise God. Sometimes if you are really so engrossed in worshipping God, you cannot smell the fishy smell!

I guess I've been in different churches than you have, since NONE of them have ever had an offensive or fishy smell.

Maybe because the ones you've been to are under the leadership of some false teacher or something like that and when you hear their distortions of the Scriptures your mind makes a mental connection with the thought "there's something 'fishy' going on here". :o)

i'be never been in a church to have a fishy smell.i think most peoples churches don't smell they don't smell like fish.

Where have you been going to church? I've gone to Catholic churches all my life and some other Christian ones and have never experienced such a smell.
Maybe you're referring to the incence?
