Please help me understand this. This question is open for believers from any religions.

I'm confused with the concept of trinity: THE FATHER, JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT. They are three persons, but considered as one.

Many times did Jesus ask for a help from The Father--if Jesus and The Father Himself are the same person, why asks help to Himself? Many times did Jesus address The Father as the third person. The Holy Spirit, isnt supposed to be Jesus Himself? If I die, will my spirit be considered as another person?

First there are rules to this question.
1. You cannot say faith..(That is like me asking you why you like sugar, and you just saying, because i do...)

2. You cannot used to bible. (Because it is not a universal truth)

I would rather hear personal experiences or feelings you have..
And if you don't believe in God. Do the same.

What made you become one?
Why should others consider it?
Why is it not a good idea?

...granted, neither of these would come easily, however proving a negative is always a challenge. In order to prove that God doesn't exist you would have to be able to search all of time and space in every dimension simultaneously and be certain that your methods were without fault. Clearly impossible.

However evidence supporting god's existence is evident in nature, our relationships with him, his interactions with us, scripture, prophets, etc.

Is there any other way to prove that he doesn't exist???? Isn't it the harder of the two?

Am I Mind.
Am I Body.
Am I a collection of both?
Am I something else that was existing before my birth and continues after my death?
Is the "I" that I perceive the same as the "I" that my friends and family perceive?

How can you still take the book of mormon serously when Egyptologists have now translated all the Joseph Smith papyri -- including the parts Joseph said could not yet be revealed -- and we can say without fear of contradiction that the materials have nothing to do with Abraham . They are delightfully pagan in nature, and nothing Jewish can be seen in them. They are part of the Book of Breathings -- a late abridgment of the Egyptian Book of the Dead. In fact, these papyri date from approximately the beginning of the Christian era and are about two thousand years too late to contain the autograph of Abraham!

If the idea is to cover the hair for keeping men temptation at bay, why do Jewish women wear wigs instead of covering their hair. And why is that Muslim women and chritistian nuns are the only who followed God's instructions? This makes me wonder!

A certain person on YA lets call them "Oky" began an answer to one of my questions about creationism with the following line "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?" . Is this a Christian way to answer a question or is it an example of religious narrow mindedness and hatred. Is it the hurl abuse at anyone attitude who disagrees with you attitude ?

Remenber, he who resorts to insults has lost the argument. This person began with an insult.

If this person has any guts she'll apologize publically in the same way she insulted me publically.

I have no problems with this persons right to believe what she wants but I draw the line at being called a wife beater.
