IF YOU DIDNT KNOW SATAN OR THE DEVIL HOWEVER YOU KNOW HIM WAS ACTAULLY AN ANGEL, BUT WE ALL REBEL SO.....
God did not make the devil as he is now, but God made him to be a beautiful angel. However, God believes in free will, not puppets, so he gave Lucifer a will, and unfortunately, he rebelled against God.
The fact that the Bible reveals that God created Lucifer perfect and yet allowed him to rebel speaks volumes about God's love. In the freedom granted to His creatures, He reveals that LOVE will do anything to make and keep one happy, even letting them choose rejection of HIM if that is what they want.
God gave the angels that fell free will, just as He gave us. A better question: why did Lucifer rebel and take 1/3 of the angels with him.
HOPE THAT HELPS, IM A CHRISTIAN OR A PRACTICING CHRISTIAN AT THAT, TO ME PERSONALLY I BELIEVE GOD THE ALMIGHTY WILL SET PEOPLE FREE.
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE IF ANYTHING??
Get back to me and tell me what you think.

God is a grand master designer, he knew that without Satan (negative force) man will not worship him, don't look at it from the point of Satan betraying God, for that has to happen to teach man how infallible he is. For every temptation you overcome, it makes you a more matured person and draws you closer to God. Remember God exist in everything so Satan is only playing its part in the Gods creation. Try to always attract the positive force (Light of God) into your being then the theory of Satan will cease to exist for you

Satan was the Greatest of All Angels of God, then He gave Him Freewill, meaning, He can do something if he likes it, or don't do it, if he don't like it, what I want people to know is that This world, is just like Game, God gave Satan Freewill, and knows everything that will happen afther that.
Satan never betrayed God, but betrayed Adam, God ordered Satan to vow to Adam in respect, and that Adam knows everything in the place, Satan refused, because He feels more powerful than Adam, and because of that He betrayed Adam by imposing them to eat what God has forbidden Adam to eat, God Sent down Adam to Earth, and Satan also to Earth, in promise with God and Satan that Satan will betray all Human Beings on Earth, and God said all those who follow you will be burnt in my blazing fire, and all those who follow me will giving a reward of Paradise.
This just the meaning of life, all what you are doing is a step towards goint either to Hell or Paradise... So chose one, and follow it, God or Satan, if you are with Satan then you are going to Hell, if you are with God, then you are going to Paradise.
That is why God has sent many Prophets, to deliver this same story, and to let people know about Satan, what he can do to make human being enter fire, there is no community that comes and past that God did not send them a Prophet, and the last of this communities, that after Him there will no other Prophet is Muhammad (pbuh)... He is the Seal of the Prophets, any comments, suggestions, email me: gidado4real@yahoo.com.
Have peace...

You are asking a question in time. Everything happens all at once in heaven. What if when Satan fell from heaven he pooped his self and God said, "With your poop I will make the earth and human kind, then I will send My only begotten Son to die for humankind to be reconciled unto Me, all they will have to do is see and accept!".
Wow! What a story. Life is poop, and poop is manure and manure makes things that are dead or nothing grow. The blood of Jesus and Satan's poop, what a mixture what a story.
Would you give your only child who was perfect over to be tortured and killed for people who not only ignored you, but spit on you, cursed you, fought you and no matter how good they could or would be, it could never be good enough because their ancestors had broken their bond of life with you, especially if your only child begged you to stop the process if at all possible? Could you just hold firm and turn your head away?

Why did God create people who claim everyday that he doesn't exist? Why did he create us with the capacity to one day be able to play God by cloning stuff? Maybe he created Satan so that sinners would get retribution. God works in mysterious ways. I know that when some people say that, people are like, these christians can't answer everything so they just reply with "God works in mysterious ways." The world would be pretty damn boring if we knew why EVERYthing happened, if we knew EXACTLY how God works and all his motives.

Wow, thats a really good question. Honestly, I don't know why God made the Satan, but my guess would be God made the Satan for punishment. Thats my opion, but if you want to know why you might want to look it up and find better reference. Otherwise, if wait paitently you might get a more accurate awnser., and good luck with the information.

Even if everything that God makes is good, it doesn’t follow that everything that God makes must remain good, particularly if one of the things God makes is a being that has the ability to choose to turn evil. Hence, Satan could begin as good (particularly if having free will is a good thing to God), with the power (freedom if you will) to choose evil over good, just like humans do, but then chooses to be evil.
Let’s assume that God, being omniscient, knew when he created Satan that he would choose to become and do evil. The same issue involves God creating human beings whom God knew would choose to do evil. Why would God create such beings knowing what they would ultimately choose? One answer is that the creation of free willed beings was a good that God wanted to create. Can God create free willed beings that did not have the power to do evil? That is self-contradictory. If a being has the power to choose evil over good, then obviously God can’t prevent such a being from being able to do evil. You can’t have such a power and be prevented from having such a power at the same time. Even if God could create beings with the power to choose evil over good but nevertheless just never happened to choose evil, what would it mean for beings to be good or choose good if there wasn’t evil with which to contrast good behavior? How would honesty be a virtue if everyone were always honest? If telling the truth were a universal norm, why would someone choosing to tell the truth in a particular situation be particularly impressive? What good would loyalty be if no one ever betrayed trust? What would it mean for us to call someone “good” or an action “good” if everyone always engaged in that sort of action? The existence of moral evil may then be necessary (and in at least some contexts appears to be necessary) for the existence of moral good or morally laudatory behavior.
Is it possible that God considered it good to create a world in which existed some beings who chose to do good on occasion and chose to do bad on occasion (or always or virtually always, as purportedly in the case of Satan) so that good actions (and good people) could be contrasted to bad actions (and bad people)? I don’t see why not, and you haven’t demonstrated why not. It’s not self-contradictory to suggest such, so it’s certainly logically possible.

You've asked a question that is the first in a series that lead one to question the traditional view of reality. And that is good.
Here's another: Why would God create millions and millions of souls he knows in advance will suffer eternity in hell?
Why would a supreme being desire to be worshiped? and if you don't, you'll go to hell. That's free will? That's love?
May you be completely at ease.

some people forgot they asked those questions whilst they have been teenagers, the additionally ought to have forgotten how inapplicable the solutions they have been given have been. the only answer is that god does not exist, because of the fact if he have been all-powerful that would recommend he's incredibly devil. Gods will may be the will of devil, devil might in a feeling be a puppet.

Interesting question. It was Lucifer's decision to attempt to overthrow God. Lucifer was a very powerful arch-angel and his power went to his head. In his insanity however, Lucifer forgot that he was a created being, not an omnipotent one. Did God know that Lucifer was going to betray Him? Yes, He did.
