it's just a story. If you want to take it literally, think about this one: Who did Adam's sons breed with to create the third generation of people? Does that mean the bible says that incest is OK?

When nature created living being, it expected them to behave in a particular fashion and observe the laws of nature. Like it is a law of nature that opposites attract. But Man used his wisdom to experiment things which went against the law of nature. So it created a mule from female horse and male donkey. It created genetically modified food and what not. No other living being in animal world tries experiments which go against the law of nature. Hence your question is superfluous. Nature made Adam and Eve to attract each other and hoped they would put the wisdom given to them to good use. Adam and Eve did, but their descendants are obviously experimenting.

well how could adam have known he was attracted to men if there were no other men about? there were also no other women about for eve to be attracted to. i think the better question would have been what would have happened if they werent attracted to one another. but its a known fact we find images of ourselves that have been altered into the opposite sex attractive (finding ourselves attractive is one reason we find our own children to be the most beautiful babies in the world lol) and as eve was made from adam then chances are he found her attractive. and what would they be comparing each other too?even if he didnt find her attractive his options were limited, when he felt the primal urge for sex it was her or nuthin.. would they have turned to beastiality? and beside thst god wanted them to fill the earth they wanted to please the almighty god and maybe thank him for being created perfectly and in a perfect world so if they didnt have sex with each other they couldnt have reproduced. these are all thought provoking questions though.

Easy.... we wouldn't be having this discussion.
Well, unless they were like so many other homosexuals who want kids and cross the fence just for that.
I'm sure glad God loves laughter!

They could still procreate. So nothing would have changed. Although it's possible that sexual attraction would not have been as strong...
