What is the punishment for a man or a woman who commit adultery in the 3 major religions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam)?? I was reading now about Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the woman who turned to be from a prosperous family but lied in order to live in Netherlands. Anyway, she said that in Islam the woman (she didn't mention that the same applies for the man too) who commits adultary will be whipped, and the people in Holand considered her a hero for making fun of this, and they said women are free to get laid whenever they wanted.
So... can the Jewish men and women commit adultary with no punishment? And what about Christians? I see porn stars wearing crosses all the time, so I guess Christians are OK with adultary, and considering it a good source of income. But was there a punishment stated in the Bible about this? And was there a punishment written in the Torah?

Islamic history tells that prophet Muhammed used to kill people who committed adultery by stoning them to death. However, I've read the Quran many times trying to find any single verse that support what he did, but I could not!

The only punishment I found in Quran for adultery was LASHING.

Does anyone know why did prophet Muhammed KILLED people who comitted adultery although the Quran sets the punishment to only lashing?

How many non-Catholic Christians sincerely want unity among all Christians with one united and undivided faith, one perfectly united Church without watering down the faith?

The only way I see it possible is for all Christians to come home to the oldest Church, the Catholic Church.

What is your plan for making this happen?

Bible-loving Christians quote that God endorses marriage between only one man and one woman, but the bible says that marriage is between one man and as many wives as a man wants or can support.

The Bible forbids women to have sex with animals but is silent about the issue of men ******* animals. Why?

the Bible says that a woman who is raped deserves to be violated if she doesn't scream loud enough for all to hear. Terrible.....

Can anyone give more examples of sexism in the bible?

For those who may not know exactly what it means, here is the definition; "Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The effects of all deeds actively create present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain in others."

According to most Christians, Jesus was God-incarnate, full man and full God. Can the finite & the infinite be one? "To be full" God means freedom from finite forms & from helplessness, & to be "full man" means the absence of divinity.
Christians assert that Jesus claimed to be God when they quote him in John 14:9: "He that has seen me has seen the Father". Didn’t Jesus clearly say that people have never seen God, as it says in John 5:37: "And the father himself which Has sent me, has borne witness of me. You have NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE"?
Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us." Why does no one (not even his parents) call him Immanuel at any point in the New Testament?
