choosing words is of critical importance.
it is easy to get slammed.
if you are sincere, slow down, choose your words carefully, think "what do i want to know?",many will look at your previous questions, if you have anything inflammatory, your going to take it on the nose.
Next question, say what it is that is on your mind.
Don't come at these people with a negative attitude, and see what happens.

Questioning God is part of the process. The questioning of God is more a questioning of our own concepts of God, which may not be correct. E.g. Jesus' parable of the prodigal son tried to show how we (e.g. as the 'good' or 'bad' son) have a perception of god that is not in sync with unconditional love. When the 'good' son sees that God doesn't give a special reward for obedience and doesn't punish sin (thus making sin real), the good son is very angry. What would be very HELPFUL would be for the good son to question and question and question God. In this way, if the good son keeps open and doesn't limit the response, he could have gone past the incorrect concepts of god and drilled down to the truth which is INFINITELY more satisfying -- the truth of complete and utter unconditional love.
Very important: the only way to really hear a response (and have an experience of God) is to get ourselves out of the way -- the more we let our concepts and beliefs fall away and let God take control, the better we have a chance to experience the response. The response is ALWAYS there; it's just our filters that block it.

I believe that people get mad when you question God because, maybe they have the same feelings and questions that you have...and are either in denile about it, or really do have a conviction or witness and can't understand why people question because, for them there is no question. I believe that many people question God, I know I do, but, many people think that God is not to be questioned. I think they are afraid that quesioning God shows a lack of faith however, the prophets of old have invited us to take quesions to God. Now, go to a Bible...I want to quote scripture that is the crux of why I think it is okay to question God. Go to James Chapter 1 Verse 5..."If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not (upbraid means to scold, so he won't scold you for asking) ; and it shall be given him." and verse 6..."But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed." (this was taken from the King James version of the Bible) Because of these two verses I believe that once you really study out a problem reading from the Bible and really thinking about it and get your opinion (concrete nor wishy washy, remember the waves of the sea), if you get on your knees then and pray to know if your conclusions are correct, God will let you know the answer in your heart but, you must ask in FAITH believeing that he will answer...just keep in mind that sometimes he does say 'no'. I hope this helps you.

It is a good thing that you question...for every question that we have for GOD, the answer is found in HIS word in some way, shape, or form. Most people want you to just accept what they say about GOD because they say so...it doesn't work that way.
What question do you have for GOD? I am being serious when i ask this. If you do not want to disclose the question openly, then email it....I am not going to answer your question according to what I think about it, but I will offer to search the scriptures about your question and tell you where to go read about it for yourself.
Keep seeking, for it is those who seek that will find what they are looking for.
GOD BLESS YOU.

I am a mature person, and I would be happy to speak with you.
If you are depressed, you may want to consider professional help that falls outside the realm of Yahoo.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, whether we agree with them or not.
If you are respectful then worry not if others put you down. Don't concern yourself with what other people think. If someone wants to engage in a debate with you, they can do it in a calm and healthy way.

They get mad because they think they are supposed to follow without question. God did not want us to follow blindly without using our brains, that's why we have the ability to question. It is okay to get mad at God too, just think about how many people in the Bible did. In the end, they realized God's purpose, but because God loves us, he offers the freedom of questioning.

Please email me with your questions. I suffered from depression for a number of years and was in therapy and on medication. I have overcome my depression through the grace of God and am more than happy to share what knowledge and wisdom I have with you.
I agree with you. I can tell when someone is truly reaching out and someone is just messing around. I try to help when and where I can.
Be blessed. I hope to hear from you.

What is your actual question about God? I mean like is He real? Ask Him, He'd be glad to tell you Himself. He says that He draws near to the broken hearted and those who are depressed. If you look for Him honestly and expect Him to answer you, He will!
