I believe in God, because he sent his own son to die on the cross for me to save me from my sins, so i wouldn't burn in hell for eternity. If you're trying to convert me to atheism, you'll have a tough time because believing that I'm a monkey is not going to save me.

I most certainly do not believe in "god". I mean with all this scientific evidence against it and nothing to support it I don't see how you could.
However, I do have some reasons why I think people believe in god. The first is obviously the fact that they can't accept that our life happened by chance or evolution, so they need a higher power to explain why the world was created. Another reason is because of emotion, like when people get angry they feel like they need to blame it on someone- because thats how the human mind works- so they can say "god why are you doing this to me?" Or, if they are really hoping for something they can start praying, and so if feels good that you can increase your chances.
But I think the most likely thing of all is just pure laziness. If people are fat they can just say "Oh, god made me to be fat". Or if they are dumb they'll say "god created me to do bad in school".
So yes I think the most common reason for "god" is laziness.

God is the Universe, the supreme being. God and Satan do exist. It's the eternal battle of good and evil. God=Love. Satan=Hate. Satan was originally an Angel who rebeled against God and was commanded to Hell. Jesus his son came so our sins would be forgiven and comes to those who believe in the form of the spirit.The end of this world will be by fire ( nuclear holocost). Mankind will eventually destroy itself. God gave everyone a free will to do good or evil. The choice is yours. Thats why we have the 10 commandments.

I feel the spirit within myself. At first i did it because i was raised to believe in God but now i do it because i feel the spiritual energy inside myself. Im Pagan btwO.o

I believe in God because he died on the cross for you and for me.He is always there in our ever present time of trouble. All you have to do is turn to him, believe in him, and have faith in him. He has promised he will never leave us or forsake us. The proof is in the BIBLE. The least we can do is praise him after all he did for us.

i believe in God because
1. the universe and every1 in it just did not come to happen ..... God created it ... as he created the 1st man Adam
2. there are proofs.. the Torah, the Bible and the Quran
u do not need to see God to believe .... u have to believe and have full faith

some of the greatest minds and most inteligent people have come to the conclusion that there is a god. to me, it just seems more logical than evolution and other theories revolve around it.
