Dinosaurs do not fit into the bible because ancient people had no idea what they were looking at, if at all, when they came across some strange looking bone sticking out of the ground. Of course these same people could not tell you why it rained, or anything pretty much about science in general. Maybe 100 years from now religious leaders will write dinosaurs into the future Bible.
Remember, the Bible is not science, but a loose chronology of a people's existence on earth with a few exaggerated tales and miracles. Most stories are parables, a way to live life by some rules and regulations.
Good night and good luck.

Well, there's some controversy about two animals named in the Bible: the "leviathan" and the "behemoth."
The lengthest reference/description of these two animals is in Job. You can read it here: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Job%2040:15-41:10;&version=31; . This is in reference to God answering Job's questioning. It's interesting that in chronology of when the books were written, Job is actually the oldest book in the Bible.
Many have tried to explain these described these animals away as, "Oh, that's just an alligator" or "That's just a hippo..." But even a large alligator or a hippo would be threatened by raging river, and would be able to be trapped and subdued.
Other explanations have included both dragons and dinosaurs. If we can believe in dinosaurs, why not dragons? After all, they're practically universal, so there must be some truth to it, right?
And I don't see why dinosaurs and humans couldn't have co-existed. I don't suppose you want to hear my crazy theory on how the pyramids were built...
But I'm getting off track.
So, there you go. That's how they fit into the Bible. God created them when He created the rest of the animals. But, like a lot of other species, the spread of man and his wickedness (and clumsiness and wastefulness and disease) killed them off. Of course, the flood helped thin out the population a lot, too.

Dinosaurs in the Bible? Surely not! But, its quite possible. God said that He created EVERYTHING in six days. This includes dinosaurs. Job 40 even describes "Behemoth", who's description resembles that of a large reptile, i.e., a dinosaur. Noah was commanded to bring a pair of dinosaurs onto the Ark. However, considering the space on the Ark, they were probably babies or infant-aged ones. After the Flood, there would have been an Ice Age, to which dinosaurs were not accustomed to. Therefore, most, if not all, dinosaurs would have been wiped out.

Dinosaurs were created during the 6 days of creation along with the other animals. The oldest book in the Bible, Job, records animals which were extremely large and powerful (called Behemoth, Leviathan) and were probably what we know as dinosaurs. There is much evidence to show that man and dinosaurs lived at the same time. Most of them would have been destroyed during the flood of Noah.

The bible explains evolution by saying god created the earth in 7 days. In its non-literal meaning, it simplifies the evolution theory for earlier people to understand. So dinosaurs do fit in, but they arent mentioned. Most people think that they dont fit because they think the bible is written literaly and it isnt.

The Bible says that everything was created in 6 days. That includes everything. There are a lot of things not mentioned in the Bible-that does not mean they do not exist. Do you know how big the Bible would have to be if it mentioned everything?

There are 3 earth ages (II Pet.3:5-7), same earth but different ages. We are now in the 2nd earth age. Between Gen.1:1 and Gen.1:2 is a vast amount of time, if time existed. Between these 2 verses is Satan’s rebellion (Rev.12:3-4) and “his tail” drew 1/3 of God’s children. Between these 2 verses also belongs all fossils and remains, such as Dinosaurs.
In Gen.1:2 we have the of the end of the 1st earth age and the beginning of the 2nd. For clarity Gen.1:2 needs to be divided (see below).
(A) Gen.1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
(B) Gen.1:2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
In (A) Gen.1:2 the first occurrence of the word “was” has been corrupted and is “became”. It reads “And the earth became without form, and void”. The end of the 1st earth age.
In (B) Gen.1:2 we have the beginning of 2nd earth age, the one we live in now. Man did not exist in flesh till this earth age.
Between (A & B) Gen.1:2 is also a vast amount of time, if time existed. Between (A & B) Gen.1:2 is; a global flood (not Noah’s which was a local flood), the destruction of Atlantis, the breakup of Gondwana Land, and the Ice Age.
Time means nothing to our Father. He is very patient and loves His children. Instead of destroying Satan and 1/3 of His children, He destroyed that first earth age. Now in this 2nd earth age we all are born innocent in the flesh. Father came in the flesh Himself, Jesus Christ, and paid the price for all. Father defeated Satin, that is death, legally. So now His children have a decision, to choose life or to choose death. It’s your decision. Choose life!!

To fit a dinosaur into the Bible, you would have to smash it really, really flat and trim it to fit.

They don't...and every time Mainworry tries to explain this from the Christian side he sounds more and more like that nutbag on the corner with his shoes on his ears and a hat with a propeller on it...ok Mainworry, we get it, ANYTHING can be made to fit into the Bible if you stretch and bend it every time there's no answer...you do that when it suits you, then quote it verbatim when you need to...makes a lot of sense...
