Graham happily admits that he has a close friendship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il - as he had one with the dictator’ father and predecessor Kim Il-sung. In June of 2005 he claimed on Larry King Live that the Kim dynasty considers him “a part of their family.” This must be disturbing information for many people throughout the world, particularly Christians, for the Kim government is responsible for the worst forms of political and religious repression throughout the second half of the twentieth century. Religious freedom in North Korea is non existent- Kim Jong-il, like his late father, declares himself to be a deity. According to a ranking published by the organization Open Doors, North Korea is currently the country with the most severe persecution of Christians worldwide [2]. Any person that is found to not be in one-hundred percent conformity with the nation’s strict code of ethics, which includes fully recognizing the proclaimed god-like status of the country’s “beloved

Remarks Against Hindus
On March 23, 1995 Pat Robertson led a television programme in which he attacked Hinduism. He called it "demonic" and said that Hindus should be kept out of the United States. He said that they worship "idols" and "hundreds of millions of deities," which "has put a nation in bondage to spiritual forces that have deceived many for thousands of years." He spoke against the doctrines of karma and incarnation. He also called on Christians to "Help us carry the light to a nation in darkness."[43]
Later in his book The New World Order he wrote: "When I said during my presidential bid that I would bring only Christians and Jews into the government, I hit a firestorm. 'What do you mean?' the media challenged me. 'You're not going to bring atheists into the government? How dare you maintain that those who believe in the Judeo-Christian values are better qualified to govern America than Hindus and Muslims?' My simple answer is, 'Yes, they are.'"[44]

This goes along with my other question about Adam and Eve:

God placed man in the perfect environment of the garden of Eden. All the fruit of the plants and trees were available for food-- all but one. This tree was the test of man's volition. The penalty for eating from this tree was SPIRITUAL death--separation from God. In omniscience GOD KNEW THAT MAN WOULD SIN. So HIs plan included a perfect solution for the fall of man.

allowed to be sexually assaulted and killed by a 21 yr old man in a toilet at a shopping mall in Perth, Australia just a day ago ?. Why are her 15 yr old brother who discovered her body, her parents and other relatives made to suffer for the rest of their lives, let alone the gruesome untimely death of the little girl at such a tender and innocent age ? Should not such incidents that happen often, make us wonder, what is the reality behind organised religions and make us want to find (rather than believe) the real way how everything in the Universe operates. Blind beliefs separate humanity into different religions creating endless conflicts in this otherwise beautiful world. Appreciate your thoughtful comments.

I noticed a lot of people who claim their Christian views lead them to believe certian people are going to hell or not for whatever reason they believe? Don't you think they should put down their specific sect ( Catholic, Baptist, Jehova's Witness, 7th Day Adventist, etc..) Instead of saying that they are just Christian. I often do not agree with their interpretation of the Bible or Jesus' Teachings. After all isn't interpretation the reason why there are so many sects. How can they just make blanket statements for Christians?

It was actually introduced long before. Sin first infested the earth when the satanic rebellion against God erupted throughout the universe. After God judged the devil and his fallen hordes, satan obviously appealed the sentence. God graciously granted his appeal, as demonstrated by the elapse of time between the sentencing and its fulfillment. Then God created the human race endowed with volition. Through volition the human race would determine the outcome of the angelic conflict and man's destiny.

Wikipedia article on Pat Robertson

Claims about the power of his prayers

Robertson claims to have used the power of prayer to steer hurricanes away from his companies' Virginia Beach, Virginia, headquarters. He took credit for steering the course in 1985 of Hurricane Gloria, which caused millions of dollars of destruction in many states along the U.S. east coast. He made a similar claim about another destructive storm, Hurricane Felix, in 1995.[8]

In 2003, Robertson called on God to prevent Hurricane Isabel from hitting Virginia Beach (which it eventually hit). In 2005, Robertson launched Operation Supreme Court Freedom, a televised nationwide 21-day prayer campaign asking people to pray for vacancies on the Supreme Court, where "black-robed tyrants have pushed a radical agenda." Robertson declared that "God heard those prayers"[9], after the announced resignation of Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

I always went to a baptist church, and they taught us that as long as we believe that Jesus died on the cross for us + asking God for forgiveness for our sins, we will be forgiven and get into heaven. WELL my little brother interpreted this to mean you can be as bad as you want but he will still go to heaven because he fulfills the two above criteria. I just want him to be good and have some respect for people. Any advice?
