Adam and Eve could not sin in the Garden of Edan as there was no law. God granted them free dominion over all things with no law. They we're given only two commandments at the time: multiply the Earth and do not eat from the tree of knowledge (i.e the apple tree). The two commandments are a catch 22 as they could not multiply the earth as they had not experienced spiritual death (they walked in the presence of God). In order to experience spiritual death they had to trasgress the law of God by eatting from teh tree of knowledge. This act allowed them to fullfill the second part of the law. If it wern't for this act, we would not have the ability to choose between right and wrong and no need for a Savior.

What was the original sin? Many people believe that it was sexual relations between Adam and Eve. However, God had blessed them, and told them to become fruitful, so sexual relations was proper between the married couple. So that was not the original sin. God had told Adam and Eve not to each from a certain tree -it represented God's Sovereignty. So it was to show who had the right to rule. Since Satan believed that he had the right to human worship he told an outright lie to Eve to make her disobey God. So this rebellion started with Satan, and yes, in heaven. He had this desire grow in him until it became fertile and the opportunity presented itself - through Eve. Ezekiel talks about when Satan turned away from "the truth" and did not hold fast in the truth.

Sounds like the plot for the Japanese comic book "Angel Sanctuary", hon. It's a religious belief or maybe a philosophical standpoint, and its original, but it's not how I feel about it. I actually think that the entire Adam and Eve story is metaphorical personally, and sin was probably going on for quite some time beforehand and afterwards, but it represents mankind sinning.

Your right. The first sin, and original sin are two diffrent things.
Man has origial sin, passed down to us, through Adam and Eve.
It was the "first sin" of mankind, but not the first ever.
Satan fell before Adam and Eve, thats how he managed to get them into the Garden. Anyone who has bothered to learn about the Bible, the whole thing, will know about that, who have read the Bible, not just stuck to Genesis.

Wrong. Satan and his bunch did not introduce sin, they were sent here for their agression and rebelion against God. 2. Adam and Eve were the first to sin on earth. It's in the book.

I have learned that Satan was once one of God's angels, and he rebelled against God, and was "sentenced" to life on Earth. That is how he, as a serpent, convinced Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.

What makes you think that was before Adam and Eve? either way, that is sin introduced into Heaven, not into the world, and certainly not to man, and I right?

Get your facts straight. You obviously haven't read the Bible. It plainly says that everything was perfect until Adam and Eve sinned. That is why they were clothed and had to work.
