I hate how in the West i feel that i am perved on by men who assume i will have sex with them, i used to be religious but gave up cos i got made a fool of as if i was a nut. Anyway, id love to get a husband and have children or do something usefull with myself but i feel a bit trapped.

Knowing everything already, how is that god has given us free will?

If he know's everything, that means that the Future is predetermined. If the future is predetermined, is there such a thing as free will?

There can be no such thing as free will, if he already knows what will happen.

If god is omniscient, then he created us all to do one thing, and we dont have a choice.

Either the supposed god is NOT perfect, or we are slaves to his design.

That is, to all who refuse to repent and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord?

Try this little experiment at home:

Sit in an absolutely quiet room devoid of distractions.
Speak your name out loud. Hear your own voice.
Repeat your name as many different ways are you can.
Call out to yourself as if you were calling a friend from across the street, or in a crowded room.
Whisper your name. Yell your name.
Continue repeating your name over and over again -in as man ways and volumes as you can.

Suddenly you find that you've never called you by your own name. It seems strange, doesn't it? Someone should answer, but who? You?

The feeling you get is personal disassociation. Who is it that's call you? Why aren't they answering?

As this feeling intensifies, you'll feel more and more disconnected and confused.

To end the confusion and the cycle, call out your name one last time, then say, "I'm coming" or "Just a second", or "Be right there!" That will bring you back.

So, my question. Does this same thing work when you say "God"?

I'm curious as to why the bible has to be interpreted. I would think that God would want the answer to be black and white, not in the shades of gray to confuse some. This is also along the lines of the Tower of Babble, why would God separate all the people so that we couldn't understand anyone. (Don't give an answer stating anything about the tower being built up into the sky, cause that would insinuate that God lived up in the clouds, which is rediculous). Serious Answers only...and please don't tell me to read the new testament-the old testament is just as relevant!

I know this is probably a stupid question and people are gonna say some nasty things, but since humans has evolved and changed so much.... how do we know that God has not changes his ways of how we should live and honor him? It was just a simple question that popped in my head right now and I just had to hear what others have to say bout that.

JESUS (pbuh): HIS FIRST MIRACLE IN THE HOLY BIBLE AND THE HOLY QUR'AN:

In the HOLY BIBLE
To turn water into wine at the marriage feast at Cana JOHN 2:9

In the Holy Qur'an his first Miracle was to defend his mother, as an infant, against the false accusations of his enemies.

I don't understand the things that are said in the bible, it just doesn't make any sense to the world we live in today.

Someone asked me why I believed the Bible it was written by men, and I told him this, I've been teaching you Biology for a semester, why did you believe me? Why did you study all semester if all I was teaching you was what man wrote? Made him think. The Bible is the word of God, I have faith in that. People have faith everday, they just fail to see it. Every time you cross over a bridge you have faith that the co. that built it knew what they were doing. If you can read the book of Job chapters 38 and 39 and tell me if you can answer the questions asked of Job. I hope you take the time to read it and think of how awesome our God truly is!! Hey, if you're offended by my God, then take a quick look at your money... :) Enjoy your reading. Peace and Agape. Have you told a lie? What does that make you? (hint: starts w/ a "L")
Have you stolen anything in your life (downloading music)? What does that make you?
Have you lusted after a man or woman? (Jesus called this adultery at heart)
If you're guilty of breaking God's law, should he send you to heaven or hell? If hell, are you concerned. If the prospect of going to hell as punishment for your lawlessness concerns you, there is good news. While you broke God's law, Jesus Christ paid your fine by being annihilated upon the cross. He was crushed for your sins. He died, was buried, and rose again defeating death. God is not willing that you perish, but that you repent and trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. Ask God for His forgiveness, then read your Bible and obey it.
If you don't like this: remember, you are in "Religion and Spirtuality". More than 2,500 soldiers have died in Iraq so that we can express our 1st Ammenment right to freedom of speach. I appreciate you for reading

I was curious, about an answer I just read:

The Bible wasn't referring to a 24 hour period. A day can also refer to an unspecified amount of time, such as "back in my father's day...". The earth is millions of years old and the Bible does not disagree with that.

Could the 'Lords Day', be that far in the future? Or, is it closer to my life time? Narrow it down for me, could it actually be the day I die? Now that would be a major coincidence! Me dying and the world dying on the same day!
