It appears that the average Christian does not truly understand GOD or the Bible. ALL of them will profess that it is impossible to understand GOD, and most of them will quote off scripture to support that claim. Be that as it may, Christians are not entirely without hope.

Luckily Christians spend their entire Christian lives huddled around a flaming pile of unrefined scripture to get a good idea of what it means to be right by GOD. Although the average Christian might have an understanding of the Bible that sounds like the lost lyrics to Jesus Loves Me, it is very possible that with the right stimulation, a person could come the rest of the nine yards in a relatively short amount of time.

Long question short, do you feel that there are new options opened up to those that satisfy certain prerequisites like asking GOD's forgiveness, accepting Jesus, or baptism(a jesture)?

Some say “for the remission of sins” in Acts 2:38 means “because of the remission (that has already happened)”. I cannot find a translation that records this verse this way. ASV says “unto the remission of sins”, others say “so that your sins will be forgiven”. The same phrase is in Matt 26:28. Jesus’ blood was shed “for the remission of sins". Had they already received forgiveness or was his blood shed so that the sins would be forgiven? Why not translate both of these verses the same since they have the same phrase? Can you refer me to a translation that uses “because” in Acts 2:38?

So if Jesus came down today and told you personally that your religion (any religion) is wrong and to follow him you must join another religion (any religion) would you do it? Like if you a Catholic then you have to become a Luthern or something.

Most of the people i have seen smoke weed, nothing neagatives happens to them....Everything that God put in this earth is good.... on the contrary, I'm not saying, we should shoot people just because gun are around. Weed is natural, guns and other weapons are man-made.... Help!!

IF some one is asking you do you belive in GOD you all have to say yes. And the reason is :
On our money we have " In GOD we Trust" of cause the bigger the value of the money the more trust we put it in. So without Lying we can say we do belive in GOD and please give me more of those GOD's . And don't be cheap , don't ask for coins.

The top scientist are mostly atheists so, when you pray to god to rid the world of sickness, aren't you really praying to atheists? When you pray to not have a natural dissaster, the top scientists(which are mostly atheists) are the ones that are giving us information about hurricanes, earthquakes, ect. which can save us or tell us to evacuate the area. I read unlimited questions about: "If God loves me why am I broke" or "Why doesnt God answer my prayers". Do you believe that God exists for you, or do you believe you exist for God. Think about it, just because God is not selfish does that mean that he created you to be his master? Or do you think that God is the master? And if God is the master, shouldn't we think of what we can do for him? God does for us shouldn't we do for Him?

My ex husband has been living with a girl for 3 years now. She wants them to be married in the Catholic church becaues she is a catholic, whether or not she is practicing I do not know, he is not catholic. In order for them to marry (according to him) I have to sign a paper and then bam in the eyes of the catholic church our marriage is annulled. So I guess my question is in 2 parts. 1 Is it really that simple?? Also we have kids what affect does this have on them. Does it make them illegitamate in the eyes of God??

... and please note I said "most" and not "all" - they think that Pagans pick and chose what they believe in and then call it a religion. Well, Christianity does the same thing. They have just as many ... no, they have more sects than we do.

What's more is that all these different sects of Christianity rival each other. If you don't believe one thing from this sect then you're going to hell. If you believe what that sect wants you to believe, another sect is telling you you're going to hell. It's very confusing.

Is it really a wonder why so many people turn from Christianity?

The Bible of course. People say that evolution doesn't go against the bible, but it does. It talks abou how man was made within the 1st chapter of Genisis (the 1st book).
