I read unlimited questions about: "If God loves me why am I broke" or "Why doesnt God answer my prayers". Do you believe that God exists for you, or do you believe you exist for God. Think about it, just because God is not selfish does that mean that he created you to be his master? Or do you think that God is the master? And if God is the master, shouldn't we think of what we can do for him? God does for us shouldn't we do for Him?

I completely agree with you. I have asked myself numerous times, " Am I doing this for God?" Especially when I am doing something good for someone or whatever. I want to be sure that I am doing it for God and not doing it for the purpose of being recognized. It is way too easy to cross that line and say that you are doing it for God, but if you are already anticipating the attention or if you find that you relish the attention then you need to step back and evaluate things.

An humbling question that all who profess faith in God must ask themselves on a regular basis. We are imperfect and our impefections surface so easily. I am guilty of selfishness and I know that it enters into my prayer life. I must constantly be on guard and seek Gods will, not my own.

People tend to do things on their own without seeking God for the answer. The devil makes things look so good to get you to do it. He don"t show you the price you pay for your sins. Always pray. Ask God to help you make the right decisions. Seek Him for the will of your life. When we do things own our own, we mess up.God is the Almighty one. We should live our life pleasing to Him.

You are talking in seperation. You and God are not seperate. He is you. He is experiencing life as you.

You have the power to create your own reality.

When you pray it´s something GOD likes!
You do it for HIM and also for you, what´s wrong with that?

I pray everyday, and first of all I THANK HIM for what HE gives to me and my family, and when I´m in trouble, I ask HIM if He can help us.
