I find it ironic that people bash Jesus so much? I mean back in his time he was practically persecuted for being a rebel and hanging around with rebels (and disliking the high priest and calling them hypocrites). Yet today, no other religion is more widely picked on than His religion? Why not Buddah or Alah? Really, why Jesus?

we all know that Bible was altered by some Priests etc, then how can Christians follow a book that's not completely God's word?
When previous religious scriptures were altered Bible was sent by God. some accepted it and some rejected it. similarly if you believe that Bible is altered then don't u think after Bible, God sent Quran to complete the message of the scripture that was given to JEsus.Don't you think Islam is the truth? Is it not like how Jews rejected Bible when Jesus came, Christians & Jews, togrther rejected Quran when Mohammad came?

I think everyone should give it a thought.

Have any of you considered that God, Allah, Zues, Mathony, Rae etc. are all the same person. God by any name is still God. I believe that there are two entities the God and Godess. No matter what name they are called they are still the same. What's your opinion?

I would like to think, that a perfect person, doesn't make alot of mistakes. I would like to think, that a perfect person, isn't easily decieved. In fact, that's kinda the definition of a perfect person. One who doesn't make mistakes and is not easily decieved. I'd say by definition that, the bible says he isn't perfect. And, says he was created perfect. That's a logical contradiction, which logically concludes, not true. Or maybe, the word perfect is just a bad translation? Maybe people are just throwing that perfect word around a little too much? Cause, i don't know, I'd think a guy who disobeys a direct (and i do mean DIRECT) order from god, is just a little unperfect. Unless, of course, that's what we are meant to do? Maybe we should follow Adam's perfect example haha?

I heard many people say that God loves America cause it helps Israel.. what are the signs for this? Is it the highest rate of crime, rape, theft, devil worshiper, atheist, porn industry, storms, hurricanes, child molestation, more men becoming gays and more women becoming lesbians, bad presidents, dead soldiers, economy for the rich, violence everywhere, discrimination against other nations, colors and creeds, increasing wealth by stealing from the Middle East, being hated by all countries in the world except Israel, having a protest against the politics of America in every part of the world -even in countries where presidents are on American's side?

What exactly the signs that Pat Robertson and others like him and others in general saw to say that God loves America for helping Israel??

This question is not to criticize Israel itself, but to critisize the dumb sentence.

Anyone knows what are the signs?

In a recent poll, the three top candidates for the presidential race of 2008 are all three adulterers and divorcees. Should conservative Christian voters really choose these candidates while claiming to want to preserve traditional family values and protect the sanctity of marriage? Republicans who have topped several national, independent polls for the GOP's favorite 2008 nominee: Sen. John McCain (affair, divorce), former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (affair, divorce, affair, divorce), and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (divorce, affair, nasty divorce). Does this seem wrong to anybody other than me? Not that they have had some marital problems, so much, but that the voters make the "traditional family values" claim, but ignore the lifestyles of the candidates...
Or is all that "protect the sanctity of marriage and traditional family values" rhetoric only the things they say to back their anti-gay positions?

I'm 26 and seem to be having some epiphany about death. Maybe I'm scared, maybe I'm curious, maybe I'm looking for comfort in other people thoughts. I dunno! I know that I am interested in any case. So...what are your thoughts?

An athiest or agnostic can be spiritual. A person that doesn't go to church or spout quotes from the bible can be spiritual.

How hard is that to understand?

"Jesus chose to die for our sins." I think most of you christianites have said that on here. He knew death was coming and did nothing to avoid it. Too me, that's like standing in front of a car, and allowing it to kill you. I know he had a purpose that involved sacrifice for the greater good. But, does that mean that any man who does the same, is immune to the "if you commit suicide you burn"? Or is he just "special". And, if he's just "special". If he knew that all he was doing is putting himself back into heaven. Then where is the sacrifice? I'd let myself be killed too, if i knew it was just going to get me into heaven.

Revelation 22:16 says that Jesus is the "offspring of David." Mary was not descended from David, but Joseph was. Doesn't this mean that Jesus wasn't the son of God at all, but the (mortal and not divine) son of Joseph?

I am an Imam of the Zaidiyyah sect of Islam, a movement to bring True Peace to Islam. We support the rights of a Jewish homestate, the rights of women, and the right of non-Muslims in the Middle East.

Yet, the Sunni (and Shia ) sects accuse us and the Sufi sect of being paid agents. We are either Hindus or paid by the "Zionists" to believe what we do.

Why is it that Islamafascist Sunnis cannot acccept that others do not share their narrow worldview ?

In GENESIS 1, God’s creation progresses from grass to trees to fowls, whales, cattle and creeping things and finally to man and woman. GENESIS 2, however, puts the creation of man before cattle and fowl and woman subsequent to beast. How can this be explained?
