God, get over yourself, dude. "Oh I died for your sins! Worship me! The Romans tortured me and I did it all for you. Don't you feel bad now? Wahwahway...."
I get tortured by Romans all the time, you don't see me carrying a cross around with me every where I go.

Did Jesus say all the things you credit him with? Or the Romans and the so called or self styled followers of this man, to placate Romans re write Jesus. For example the holy quran mentions Jesus at least 35 times, each time with reverence due to a good MAN. TNT (the new testament) on one hand says Jesus ifs god and on the other hand makes him cry out in pain and anguish. It also portrays him as a self trumpeting politician saying what you said in your question. I am comfortable with a mortal, like me and you, Jesus who tried to do something about the tyranny of Romans and did something which was totally distorted by the powers be at that time. It was not paradise that was lost; Jesus , for ever.

Yeah, Hitler pretty much died for what he believed in too. And, he is probably an inspiration for others out there still today. Some people probably think, but Hitler commited suicide! Well Jesus's was just assisted suicide. He knew he was going to die. Did he flee? No.. That's like standing in front of a car, and letting yourself get hit. If that's suicide, then Jesus is going to hell haha according to most of his own doctrines anyway. Although, he is "special". Basically, what it comes down to is, I was born special, and I died, while I was special. For you? Hey maybe.. Maybe he had all good intentions.. maybe the guy who stepped in front of the car thought.. well i'm crippled to the point where i'm no help to anyone.. and all I do is consume.. i might as well for the sake of humanity.. does that get him off? Well.. was he the son of god? Ehh...

Oh, but we'd love to see you do it, wouldn't we Yahoo Answers!

The whine that you are so sick of is the reason many believe they will receive everlasting life.

Since Adam was a perfect human before he sinned, a ransom of equal value had to be paid to buy us out of bondage forever, which is what Adam's actions did.

Before Jesus' sacrifice, people sacrificed their "best" animals for atonement.

Jehovah could have offered any angel as a sacrifice for our atonement, but since the best perfect entity was in order for a propitutory ransom, He offered His only begotten son, Jesus Christ.

There has to be a lot of love from both Jehovah and Christ to offer such a sacrifice, someone as selfish as yourself would not understand such selfless love.

Jehovah offered his perfect born to flesh son to be tortured and tormented in order that He may die for our sins.

Jesus offered to be "that" obedient to do as His father instructed, in order to become the sacrifice that bought us out of sin to death.

I know you didn't really want the answer, but you got it anyway.

Hee, hee, hee. :~)

You might want to actually read the Bible to know what Jesus really did and did not say and do. For example, Jesus did not say for anyone to worship him in the bible until "Revelations" and that book was written by a man in a cave who had a dream, not Jesus. So, you might want to sit with the book and wash away all the mistellings the Evangelists or whoever have taught you.

Matthew 12:18: "Behold my servant, whom I have chosen."
Acts 3:13(RSV): "The God of Abraham, and of Isaac,.... hath glorified his servant Jesus."
Acts 4:27(RSV): "For of a truth against thy holy servant Jesus, whom thou hast anointed...."

Jesus, a highly advanced son of God, was sent by God on a divine mission to provide spiritual assistance to other less advanced sons and daughters of God (us). Jesus willingly and courageously carried out his difficult assignment --- which some people wisely and gratefully accepted.

Too bad you aren't the prophecied Messiah that was mentioned by the Old Testament prophets. Too bad you aren't the savior of the World. I feel for you, but don't bash Jesus because of what he did for me as well as millions of other Christians.

Even if Jesus is lying, you can't say you don't have a little respect for Him!

Whether or not you believe He is who he says He is, He believed it very strongly and died a criminals death, when He did NOTHING wrong, to save everyone on this planet!

I am sorry you don't believe in Him, I am praying for YOU!

God Loves YOU,

Why replace into it available on the front? with the aid of enemy! with the aid of fact one knew the threat that one confronted. If i'm to construct unity between the folk, i ought to first come across a clean front, a uncomplicated enemy so as that each and every person is primary with of: We must be united, with the aid of fact this enemy is the enemy persons all. Hello YahooRFascist.. :)

You forgot to mention that while Jesus was still hanging on the cross, He said Father forgive them, they know not what they do.. :(

As for you not carrying a cross everywhere you go..were you born, and did you live without any sin in your life..

Because His Love Has Set Me Free..

Jesus means the world to me..
Because His Love has set me free..
Not to fear the way I used to do..
But to walk with Him and be renewed..
His Love I can Never repay..
For that terrible pain He suffered that day..
Not for Himself did He die..
But for Everyone He was crucified..
So Please don't turn your backs to our Saviours Cry..
It wasn't just for me..but for YOU He died..

You are in my heart and my prayers.. :)

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

You have the wrong idea of Jesus...did He ever say any of those things you said? No. Jesus is very strong, loving, compassionate, forgiving, peace-giving, uplifting, holy, pure, on and on and on. Strength is just one of His attributes....where did you get the "wahwahway"? It was His choice to die for us, He wasn't forced into it.
