I'm talking about the views on Muslims and other religions? i see so many diferent people on here talking about how bad these people are but are'nt you just grouping an entire people in a group because of a few? Kinda like if they said all christians were like Adolph Hitler?

Over the years, I realize that the more sincere you are with a relationship (of any kind, not just romance), the easier you get hurt. So I have been trying to protect myself by keeping a distance and trying hard not to give my real feelings away. However, I always end up either not truly happy or finally give all my true feelings out, which then, again, get myself hurt. I an very tired now..... and the only thing I want to achieve now is to protect myself, to love myself..... to put myself on top of the list...... Why is it so difficult to love myself when others could do that so easily. Help !

My mom owns her own cleaning company, and I went to clean a complete stranger's house with her, and they had a picture of someone hanging in the den, and the person looked EXACTLY like me, it freaked me out!! The picture looked like it was from the 1930's or something.

How can this be explained, do you think it has anything to do with "re-incarnation"?

Why is it that you try to push your beliefs on everyone? Do you really think your way is the only way and everyone else will go to hell? If so, there will only be few people in heaven because lots of people follows dieffernt spiritual/religous paths.....Do you think that Jews,Buddhists,Muslims, and people of other faiths are going to "go to hell" because they don't practice YOUR religion?? I am very spiritual, but I think it is worng to push your religion on everyone else, especially when they don't want to hear it. Your way is not the only way...why can't you see that??? Other Faiths are just as ligitimate as yours, atleast they believe in something.....

It's just, the majority of the world seems to believe in one god or another and the main principal of if you sin you will go to hell etc. So is it possible that in the end all religions are connected but are just interpeted differently by different people?

I'm not deeply religious myself ,I'm just killing time.

It's amazing how many intelligent people believe in such nonsense. The bible contains so many unknowns and ridiculous ideas!!
Jesus is said to be "god's" son, yet "god" is purported to not even be human - instead, just some being that floats around space. So, this floating being is jesus' father, yet, apparently he didn't even impregnate mary..instead, she just magically became pregnant. So he's the father how?

And Noah's arc.. lol does anyone have any idea how many species of animals there are today, and were back then? There's NO possible way every animal could have fit on one boat.

So, WHY do people believe all of it? Do they know the authors? Do they have proof of any of the stories??? The ONLY difference between the bible and any other fictional book is the number of people that follow it. It's like everyone is 5 yrs old again, and believe something they heard/read SOLELY because their relatives and friends believe it.

Does 'Santa Claus' ring any bells?

Carl Popper once wrote that if human beings want to be perfect that they should change with the times. Its all about religion. dont you think the time has come to drag our religions out of their cultural and tribal prejudices in to which they were born and link it with 21st century human rights values.

If you convert from christainanity to..... lets say over to scientology. or protestant to catholicism or judaism to islam, any number of choices and reasons.... like marriage... but why do peolpe do this .. i dont understand because what i believe is what i believe.. and no one can make me believe otherwise "cuz thats what i believe"
