Why is it that you try to push your beliefs on everyone? Do you really think your way is the only way and everyone else will go to hell? If so, there will only be few people in heaven because lots of people follows dieffernt spiritual/religous paths.....Do you think that Jews,Buddhists,Muslims, and people of other faiths are going to "go to hell" because they don't practice YOUR religion?? I am very spiritual, but I think it is worng to push your religion on everyone else, especially when they don't want to hear it. Your way is not the only way...why can't you see that??? Other Faiths are just as ligitimate as yours, atleast they believe in something.....

I think that if you are a good person you will go to a better place after death (no matter what you believe in). If you are a bad person you will not go to a much better place.

P.S. Someone has told me that they did a survey on people had a coma. They would see a white light and at the end of the white light they would see there God (which ever God that they believe in) and there God would ask them what did you learn in your life. If they answered wrong they will come back from the coma and if they answer right then they will stay in a coma for the rest of there life.

Alright don't lump all Christian's as pushy, I'm a living breathing Christian that has never pushed my religious or spiritual views on anyone. Though I will tell you my beliefs if you ask live by example is my thing and it is Biblical. I agree it's human nature some folks are that way others believe they can force beliefs on others. Free will, to each their own and I have my beliefs you have yours I wish you peace and it'd be great if we could all understand each other without attacking one another. They true reason is it is a messianic faith and despite the venom some folks have they are trying to spread the faith and belief of saving your soul. Now I can see why that bothers the Buddhists hehe. It actually comes from a noble thought just twisted up division isn't the goal and it can be downright nasty I agree. Folks need to remember not all are called to the same thing and in my belief God will be the judge not us

I'm sorry you feel threatened by our Faith. I for one do not try to push it on people. I am happy to discuss it with anyone, but for the most part I just try my best to live my life in a way that reflects my beliefs.

Some newer Christians are so excited to have discovered what Jesus can do in their lives, that they can't help but want to share it with you and the rest of the world. Unfortunately, they might lack the restraint they need to realize that not everyone is ready or willing to hear the message yet.

Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior your whole life changes. It's like a renewed You. Imagine a perma smile in your heart. That's a little bit like what it feels like. The thing is, that these new Christians were so recently in the same state that You are or that they see their friends and family in, and they now have an answer for things and they just want everyone to have the same amazing experience that they did. They just want to help you, even if it seems like they're pushing.

As far believing that no one but Christian's go to heaven, Yes, that is what our Faith teaches us. It is through your belief in Jesus and the fact that He died on a Cross to take punishment for all of your sins (everyone's) that makes it possible for you to go to heaven. He didn't die for just Christian's though, HE DIED FOR EVERYONE. The catch is that you must truly accept this as fact. The only religion that teaches this as fact is Christianity, therefore, so far the only believers are Christian. Christians are waiting for Jews to accept before we can all go to Heaven. The bible explains that they had they're minds closed by God on purpose, to give more of "the common" people a chance to learn about him and believe. Once the Jewish faith has that veil removed by God, the world will end and we will all believers will go to Heaven. Everyone else, well... So I guess now is the time to decide. You are rewarded for believing without seeing, so if I were you I'd lean on the side of I'd rather believe and be wrong, than take the chance in not believing and it turns out to be true.

As a Christian, I must say, I do not know what gets people through day to day without having Jesus in their lives.

To clarify, I believe that all non-Christians (those who don't believe in Christ) will yes go to hell. Everyone will have a choice when Jesus returns though to accept him, because they will be able to see him and will have to accept. If they still deny him after that, Then they will go to Hell.

Excellent question. You will, however, never get a straight answer from a Christian (or Moslem, for that matter).

I am reminded of something a British writer said: Selfishness is not living as one wishes to live, it is asking others to live as one wishes to live.

Christians (and Moslems, and Jews) are selfish people who believe they have a corner on goodness and truth. It's a narrow way of thinking: either my way or the wrong way. They cannot conceive or nor accept differences among people. They are intolerant. It takes a strong and confident person to be able to accept differences and not take them personally (by which I mean: we both can be right about things; if I can accept that, I'm bigger than the person who thinks either I'm right and you wrong, or you're right and I'm wrong).

Of course, too, there's one more thing about Christians: they think that their "good book" requires them to convert everyone else to their religion, so they MUST push their beliefs onto others, otherwise they are not good Christians. This is a double-bind: damned if you do and damned if you don't. So in a sense I feel sorry for them.

Sister, I don't "push my beliefs on everyone". I am a member of the Society of Friends (Quakers) and we don't actively seek converts to our religion.

But, yes, I DO have deep and true Faith that there is only one way to God, through Jesus, as stated in The Bible. I believe that Satan misleads many people along the wrong path, because ignorance in religion (as in law) is no excuse for disobedience. God has made his law(s) very clear, and the cost of disobedience is the highest imaginable.

IF I (or anyone else) were to tell you about what we believe, and why, could you consider for a moment that it might be done out of love, and not some supposed feeling of "religious superiority"? Perhaps, as a Child of God, it hurts me to see Satan misleading so many of my brothers and sisters to chose to follow him into hell, when God's message to chose his way seems so clear to me (or whomever is talking to you at the time). And, you're right -- not everyone (who thinks they are) is going to heaven.

That's why I chose to have an open mind whenever anyone wants to discuss their (or my) religious beliefs with me. If someone has real Faith, then we usually find that our beliefs are more alike than different.

However, I, too, tend to have problems with all of the self-satisfied "preaching" of the "holier-than-thou" crowd -- of ANY religious sect.

Do you have the discernment to tell the difference between wanting to share God's love and salvation, and just wanting to beat other people into submission with your own opinions? If so, these questions & answers become much more interesting and enlightening. Peace.

I think the Bible is the only true way, but so does everybody else think there thing is the real deal. However, evidences that I have found in trying the Bible and looking at others have pointed me to believing the Bible instead. We all have freedom of choice so I don't think Christians are forcing anything on anyone; you can always, log off or tell them no when they come to you - I hope you wont though, but you still have that choice. Try the Bible for yourself I would advise.

Aw sweetie...sorry that you've encountered some perhaps overzealous Christians. I cannot speak for them, though. Worshipping Christ is a passionate and dynamic, lifechanging thing. Christians honestly believe that there is an urgency to accept Christ. I will not try to anger, dispute or argue with you. I will just ask that you read in the Holy Bible, John 10, verses 7 through 10. Also, please read 1 John, chapter 5. Better yet when you get a few hours (2 maybe) read all of John and 1st John. I love you.

People don't want to hear it, this is true. But if i were walking in the road and a bus was about to hit me, would you not yell to save me from that bus? well thats the same was with Christians. Only one God Created you, not any of these other religions, just one. Only one Jesus saved you from your sins, not any of these other religions. I don't push anything on anyone, but if i can help you not to spend etenity in Hell, then i will. I think it is the best thing you could do for a person. But ask yourself this, what if Jesus really is who he said he was? Because if he is, then you are making a very big mistake by making this about a religious group, and you are ruining all of eternity for yourself. Jesus wasn't about religious, he was about reality. And the Bible is reality, yours and my views aren't reality, they are just reality as we see it. Jesus is Truth, and I am only hoping you will let your guard down that was put up there by so many religious fanatics and begin to see that Jesus isn't like them, he is real, and he is genuine. Thanks, and i hope that helped alittle. please message me for any other questions,
Matt

Why does it bother you? Are you afraid of something? I don't mind talking to people from other religions because I know my foundation (the Bible) is firm. I never try to be offensive; I try to see where the other person is coming from and calmly logically think things through. I have no "religion," only faith. Is faith so hard to accept?

I am sorry if you felt that Christian have pushed you. I am sorry.

I was a Buddhist, and now I have tranquillity in the spirit of God. I know my meditation brings me real joy and peace. May be we can share more over the e-mail.

It is no more my effort to find my Navana, I have already secured it. When I secure it, I love to share this joy, just as Lord Buddha did 2500 yrs ago. But somehow, some of the over zealous Christian make it so pushy.

Sorry, but we can't help when we attained it. I am full of joy and peace. Just wish we can share more over the e-mail.

Cheers.
