I do not believe that this will be the Mark of the beast, the Mark of the Beast refers to a system of worship and laws forcing you to accept it. It is stated in the Bible that you will receive it in your forehead or hand not both. In the forehead refers to your thinking capacity - if you recieve it there you believe in it and accept it thus. If you receive it in your hand you do not believe it but you practice it just to fit in or for some other reason. However, the national ID might be apart of the whole system since in Revelation 13 it also says that you will not be able to buy or sell and therefore the ID might play a role in this area.

I think the MOTB is a joke a bunch of scare tactics for illiterate gullible people. another way to keep the sheep in the fold.

The ID thing is pretty stupid. How do they propose to stop ID switching. There is a definite good side and a definite bad side to the ID. Good for criminals, bad for noncriminals.

I think the only people who don't want this ID thing are the people who lie about who they are.

I think there are too many people running around trying to push their own agendas to the people, however, I hope that the majority will see it as BS and ignore it as that.
