So if Jesus came down today and told you personally that your religion (any religion) is wrong and to follow him you must join another religion (any religion) would you do it? Like if you a Catholic then you have to become a Luthern or something.

Brilliant question, might want to change the title so you get the attention of the more... ahem... self-assured sheep... might be drawn to your question.

in aswer: Jesus never said to folow anything... he really was trying to preach to follow your heart... OR check the book of Thomas (oh yeah, that apostle's book is CONVINIENTLY left out), where the man says: do not worship the son, do not worship the father, worship the SPIRIT. That's the sprit that flows in everything, that which connects god, man, and all life.

NO, I don't believe Jesus was the son of god... but a briliant spiritualist with a good message.

I just don't see that happening. Jesus isn't about division, he's about unity. And I don't see him making people choose one Christian denomination over another. If Jesus came down to talk to me, it'd probably be to ask me what I've been doing with my life and if I treat others with the respect I would want to be accorded.

Jesus was against religion, He wouldn't do that. He is for discipleship, fellowship and communion. People make denominations. He can be followed within denominations, but that was not His plan.

If Jesus came today, it would be too late for religion swapping.

Of course... if of course I knew it was Jesus. For now I believe they way I feel He has led me to believe, but if I got to really talk to Him and He told me to follow anything, I would.

Catholics and Lutherans are both part of the Christian religion.
I hope I would listen to Jesus.

They wouldn't recognize Him.

He was a Jew, and their pictures of him make him look more like a stupid white American. They would harass him and call him false prophet and stone him and exclude him.

Oh... the irony...

no because in the bible it says to beware of those that come saying i am the Christ....so that person is probably not the real Jesus
