Try this little experiment at home:

Sit in an absolutely quiet room devoid of distractions.
Speak your name out loud. Hear your own voice.
Repeat your name as many different ways are you can.
Call out to yourself as if you were calling a friend from across the street, or in a crowded room.
Whisper your name. Yell your name.
Continue repeating your name over and over again -in as man ways and volumes as you can.

Suddenly you find that you've never called you by your own name. It seems strange, doesn't it? Someone should answer, but who? You?

The feeling you get is personal disassociation. Who is it that's call you? Why aren't they answering?

As this feeling intensifies, you'll feel more and more disconnected and confused.

To end the confusion and the cycle, call out your name one last time, then say, "I'm coming" or "Just a second", or "Be right there!" That will bring you back.

So, my question. Does this same thing work when you say "God"?

TRY THE EXPERIMENT! No, no drugs are involved here. I'm posting this exercise because many people seem to be caught up in the "you're right, you're wrong" thing when it comes to religion.
This is about perception, spirituality, and reality.

If you play along you may understand what I'm trying to achieve here. I know it may sound "out there", "f'd up" or whatever, but at the very least, give it a chance! TRY it.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

I think you are trying to ask if you feel confused when you call God and you don't hear an answer. Or is it the other way around? I'm not sure, but when you call God as in prayer (not by saying OMG), he hears you, and he answers you're prayers. It may take a while, and the answer is not always yes. Have faith in him and expect the best!

You must not live in an apartment. Absolute Quiet is a rarity. If the neighbors hear you calling your own name, they may call the police or the men in white coats.

Since I am God, calling my own name is the same as calling God, and I am right here already. I'm over there, too.

That is totally hilarious! I haven't done it yet, but I can imagine it.

If you understand that God is in you, then you should feel the same thing?

Try looking in your eyes in the mirror, real close. Sometimes I get freaked out because I see eyes that don't seem like me. Hard to explain.

Nope.

I feel like I should write more of an answer since you spent all that time on your question, but the simple answer is "no".
