If jesus loves me so much, why is my bank account still empty?

This is one reason religion was invented. People need the comfort, and explanation that you will get from many Christians. You can't waste your life waiting for someone to bail you out. There is no Jesus, help yourself.

The love of Christ is not measured in dollars. Take it from a disabled guy not employed with a nearly empty bank account and a sick body I have a lot of trouble with. He died for your sins. That was his love for you. Now, being freed by his love, you need to take action to correct the empty bank account situation. Maybe a new job, restricting personal spending, plus some saving even if it is only pennies.

The next time you get money give the first 10% to your church or charity. Then ask god to give you the wisdom to spend the other 90% wisely. Try to give 10% Save 10% and live on 80%. If you can do it you will have more than enough.

Well then look back any perticular reason, in which you've not done what God asks of you. Cause when you don't follow the rules you don't get rewarded you get punished. Not saying God is a vengefull Diety cause he's not we dish out our own punishments, but well God helps those who help themselves. It usually comes from the same kind of people who stopped believing in Santa Claus not because he doesn't exist per se ,but because they are selfish and they didn't get every single thing on their Christmas list. Same thing with God, and Jesus. You can't base love just on getting money. In fact , the Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil.

You are lucky to be poor, for you do not have to deal with the lust of money, which can turn one away from the ways of Christ, as it did to this young man. I thank God that he did not place me in the spoils of wealth, for I feel if he had I would have surely been led astray.

He also use to sleep and eat like you and me plus he was a carpenter so i think so he use to work for his living.
