I really like this quote "Amor Platonicus." I kno that this is Latin, but when I look it up on a translator, only Amor changes. I am already aware that many of the online translators are not correct at times as I am already fluent in Spanish. I am thinking about getting this as a tattoo, but not sure yet. I love the Portuguese language itself...Please Help!

I read something beautiful in a cemetery while in Italy, about people who have passed... It was something like:

"[Ti or vi] amero dal cielo [as I loved you] dalla terra."

I can't remember it exactly, but I want to print it and frame it with a picture of my dear grandfather who passed away. Does anyone know exactly how it goes?

Thank you...

Record? (Record as in to tape) The closest thing i found was 'Perscribo' but that's more like to write down and i need the word record like the kind where you record and listen over.
If there isn't a Latin translation to it then other words like it would be useful, thanks :)

can any one translate this song for me its in polish

Zatańcz ze mną jeszcze raz
Otul twarzą moją twarz
Co z nami bedzie? Za oknem świt
Tak nam dobrze mogło być

Gdy Ciebie zabraknie

Can anyone translate a Russian book title and author for me?

As best as I can spell, the author is I. H. TOICTON (with a little comma above the last backwards N)

The title is BONHA n MNP (both N's are backwards and the first N has a comma above it.

Printed in USSR, 1962. The dust cover has an image of soldiers pushing a wheeled cannon.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

okay, i know about the 1st and second declensions, and how to recognize them in a sentence, but how can you know if it is neuter?? For ex:

complete the following setences by filling in the blanks with the correct case endings and translate.

Quintus patr---- vocat.
So, it would Quintus calls his father. right?
so, father would be accusitive, ending in -um, right? wrong. the correct answer is -es. Why is this? how could one recognize this? Please Please help me. I'm very confused.
