You don't appear to stutter that much to me, although I am not quite sure what "Hpw" means. You know I think this is very rude of you to be making fun of people with speech impediments, try to remember from now on that even though you are at a computer there are real people behind these avatars.

Get the books "Advice to those who stutter" and "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" from The Stuttering Foundation of America in their estore at www.stutteringhelp.org. Those books, especially the Self Therapy one, were the ones that helped my family...it is one to study and work through the steps rather than just to casually read. Check their web site for more information.

There are several cases of people who quit stuttering when doing something else. People normally do not stutter while singing. Maybe do something with your hands. Knitting might work. It also depends upon why you stutter. Talk with a speech therapist.

You can go to the speech correcting specialist, who have special programs for that, or you could try a lot of singing, for practice...it helps very much.
Talk slowly, and think, before you say anything, that is, by the way, a very useful thing for everyone with or without stuttering.

Stuttering often comes and goes as we go through stages in our growth. It is certainly NOT a characteristic of being "stupid" ... in fact the opposite (intelligence) is more likely.

I don't know how old you are, but would in any case suggest going to the National Stuttering Association (NSA) website below for tips for your age group.

In any case, make light of it and laugh at yourself, if you can ... Good Luck!
