So I need to write into a leaving card for a good friend, and I have...hasta luego mi amigo (and wanted to add, but in spanish) and I wish you good luck, good fortune, and good loving! - Any help (with accents in the right places i.e. to write out not to speak!) would be great. That is unless anyone can think of a more appropriate phrase already in spanish!

Cheers.

I think there are different notations for writing date. For example:
10/3/2005
How do you find out how you can read this date? Is it March 10th or October 3rd?

¡Me encanta!

I strongly believe that we need to tackle the root of the problem, by reducing the production of drugs, this will be achieved if western government financially aid third world countries to be able to subsidise their farmers in order to grow alternative produce. Such as afghanistan, which produces 87% of the worlds opium, we need to help and educate these farmers in order to deter them.

i was thinking perhaps either liberar would be appropriate as i'm not looking for the literal meaning but more in an emotional sense. I was opting for soltar but was told that it was meant in a literal sense. If anyone could offer help on these two words or any others that would translate to what i'm after, i would appreciate it greatly :)

This is another translation from my language into English. Would you like to tell me where should I work more, where it doesn't sound like English. The poem is a poem for children.

Help!

White night?
Mist? Clouds?
Who is asking
For help?
All the city’s waking up,
All the lights inside are winking…
The door,
“Who built me in?”
The window,
“Oh, my God, I’m going blind!”
The thermometer,
“I have one mile of a beard!”
The chimney,
“I can’t breathe anymore!”
The roof,
“My hat is a mountain!”
The fence,
“There’s a bridge over me!”
The apricot tree,
“I’m buried to my neck!”
The tram,
“I got frozen over night!”
The road
(as if from a barrel),
“Hey, help, help me out!
I’m dying! Dig me out!”

Would I say:

Also, I've never used the word عمر before and I am finding it a little difficult to pronounce--or rather, I am not sure if I am pronouncing it correctly. I believe the vowels are as follows: عُمْر

Could you write the English transliteration? I am saying something like aymr but it could be something like umr. It's the ُْ and ع combination that is throwing me off.

Thanks.
