I'm black and I sometimes speak ebonics...I take AP Human Geography, and ebonics is a dialect, not a language. People say it is 'a disgrace to the English language"...what about Southern dialects? Are they disgraces to the English language? I don't understand why people say they are fed up with it if it is just a dialect. You don't have to be a fundamentalist...you can go outside the box.

i don't know how to conjugate er ir and ar verbs...its too hard, and i don't understand my teacher (she's stupid). i needed to translate that "went to school in 2006" for my timeline project...so i put down"volo la escuela superior en 2006" the problem for me is to conjugate the word "volver" i used the er verbs and put down an o at the end, but then it just came out to something that doesn't make sense...
if someone know about this conjugating stuff plz help me out, but don't give out dictionary sites cuz they don't work word for word.

My mother tongue is an Aryan Language, which is so different from English. But I learnt English as a second language so have a satisfactory level of knowledge, and still keep learning. Recently I felt like I ant to learn another language for no special reason. I like it to be something that would useful to me.

If it's an international language - better. What are your sugestions. If I start learning French, Spanich, Italian etc.would it be confusing to learn it together with English?

What do you think about learning Japanese or mandarin? Have you tried learning them? Were they easy to master for somebody whoose languages are so different from them?

Now that this happened everybody is trying to give it a reason for its growth.
Do you think it´s because of Latin America, Spain or just cause of the number of spanish speaking immigrants in the USA?
