I'm writing this paper for my spanish class- it's due on MONDAY- and need to know how to say "light skinned [not mixed/multa]" and "brown skinned" in spanish.

brown skinned it is or atleast in my country, we say "morena de piel"
light skinned would be "clara de piel"

It is piel morena because I used to get called it when I was working in Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

white...blanca or blanquita (blankita)
light....clara
brown...triguen~a (trih*ghen*ya)
brown...morena (sometimes means dark hair)
skin...piel
complexion...tes (not so sure about the spelling)

de piel clara....light skinned
de tes clara...light skinned
es triguen~a...is middle toned (brown)
es morena...is black or is brown...
