"I rode the bike around the refinery once, AND THEN I walked around the refinery once."

I know how to write them separately:

I rode the bike around the refinery once = 私は精錬所の回りで自転車に1度乗った。

I walked around the refinery once. = 私は精錬所の回りで1度歩いた。

I just don't know how to connect them into one sentence. I don't know how would you say the AND THEN part.

Can anyone help?

The languages chance with the time, sometimes becoming in a new diferent language.
The english that are spoken in USA is the same in England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, Canada etc, Yeah their have diferrences about the slang, but are still the same languace...for now.
What do you think would will happend with the english language in the future? the differences about the slang could become bigger? Some day the englsih in USA could be different from the english in England or Australia, to be 3 different languages in the future?
Could will the english become in different languages like happend with the Latin from the ancient Rome (The latin was the language of the empire, it becoming in a different languages with the time as the italian, french, spanish, portuguese, etc) ?
what do you think about that??

I teach English as a second language.

Does it mean the speaker teaches English to people who speak English as a second language or mean the speaker himself or herself speaks English as a second language?

You are the love of my life. We have been so close, yet so far apart. No matter where my life takes me, my heart is set on you. Like a blossom growing, our friendship gets stronger everyday. feeling safe and closer to you makes a part of me happier than the other. You have become a part of my life and you will always remain in my heart forever.
There are no words to express the gratitude I feel in my heart that our hearts have come to dwell together, as one. You are my life, my heart, my soul. You are my best friend. You are my one true love. The day we met was fate. Our lives intertwining was fate. You are my destiny. I love you more today than I did yesterday, and I'll love you more tomorrow than I do today. Love is the only thing that makes life worth living. My love. With all my heart I am forever yours.
I will send you a sweet rose in my next mail

ok well i am deaf and when i am in class i always rely on the interpreter fully and don't use my voice. but i was raised orally so i can talk and i talk & communicate by lipreading at my job and with the few people i am friends with that do not know sign. if someone from my class were to run into me at work or out in public and see me speaking, would they get the wrong idea? i guess when i am in class with the interpreter, i just like to rely on her/him as to get a break from having to lipread and talk. why do i feel like such a fake sometimes then?

The epidemic of pathetic grammar. Honestly. Everywhere I look it's ur this and plz that and "wat do u think si teh pblm?" everything else. *grinds teeth*

Pathetic. People who type like that are automatically considered idiots in my book, no matter how intelligent the thought behind the statement.

Do you type ur instead of you're (or any of the common idiot-speak)? Why? Why not?

*cringes and awaits the enevitable...*
