Not only IS there, but there ARE.
People of virtually all major languages live in sizeable numbers in Canada. Canada has always been a polyglot nation, and despite Ramsey MacDonald's efforts, has managed to sustain its multi-ethic character in relative (!) peace and stability. Before the American Civil War, Canada provided a haven of safety and freedom for escaped slaves.
You can look up Canadian immigration statistics and learn more about this and particularly parts of the country attracting the largest numbers of Hispanic immigratioin as well as the migrants' countries of origin.

There are a few Spanish speakers in Canada. However, English and French are the official languages (although English is spoken more).

245,000 people reported Spanish as their single mother tongue in the 2001 census. (Out of 30 million, so almost 1%.)
Most public schools in Canada offer only French (or English) as the second language, but of course some people do learn Spanish. I would guess maybe 10% of Canadians speak some Spanish.
