Ok , dont listen to them , no real italian would really actually say la vita e bella ....
In order to convey the meaning of life is beautiful in italian ,
You would say :
LA VITA E DOLCE ;)
"la vita" means "the life" , even though we just say life, italians still need the article "the" to make it gramatically correct
"e" means "IS"
"dolce" means "sweet", but that is the expression italians do use when referring to the phrase life is beautiful ;)
