Is their any kind of specail gifts that europeans(Albanians/Greeks) like to recieve? I need help with figuring out what to buy my boyfriend for christmas. We just had our 1 year anniversary on Nov. 12 so even though last year was our first christmas I don't really count it b/c I didn't really know him to much at the time so I want to make this a special christmas. Some things that describe him that might help in deciding a good gift for him is, he is 21 is from Europe (Albania/Greece), loves soccer, likes cars, plays pool and play card games...pretty much anything along those lines. Even if it is a couple of things to make one gift I would really love some good ideas. It would mean a lot to me. Thanks A lot and Happy Holidays to all.

I would like to hear what other people feel about saying "Merry Christmas". I don't understand what the big deal is. Who does it offend is you say this? Isn't Christmas an American tradition and in many countries? If you take "Christ" out of Christmas, its just another day. Why does everything have to be so politically correct? Don't we have better things to worry about other than how people speak?

well..we get like 1200$ to shop for toys in toysrus..we are a bunch of pediatric residents buying gifts for the kids in hospital for christmas...we r new at this ...so need to know what toys are appropriate for all ages...thanks in advance..

i bought a $30 tree from target and while it was a great "value", the tree looks like a Charlie Brown tree no matter how many ornaments i pile on it. i'm not a fan of that silver tinsel stuff or that metallic garland, but at this point i'll consider them if they will really help make this tree look better than the $30 i spent on it. are there any tricks to help close up the empty spots between the (fake) branches and make this tree look fuller - without buying a new tree? (which is probably what i'll be doing as soon as the clearance sales start.)

I've come into some money and we're doing well, I work to keep things as they are, I know he feels really bad because he can't buy me anything "great" for Christmas. Kind of a role reversal--I'd love to get him an ATV - his took a big crap 2 years ago and I know he misses it--so should I? He's always carried the major load of bills and money, we been married for 30 years, and I don't want him to think I'm taking over or anything (I've invested enough that I think I could spend a bit for him)
