This question is only for the true american people. Tell me how do you celebrate the independance day the July 4 ? Is it a big party time in your state do you have some singer who come with the orchestra do you drink and celebrate a lot ? Or is it very simple with fire work ? sorry for my bad english it's just because i am french girl

Seriously, my 25th birthday is next week and my boyfriend keeps asking me what I want. but I can't think of a thing. Of course there is alot of things I need, like new clothes. but those are things I need to buy myself. Money is a little tight so he can't afford something extravigant.
We are new parents and already have a babysitter for going out for the night. We are going to dinner and a movie. But I can't think of a gift I should ask him for. Ladies any suggestions?
