By far Fort Vancouver, Vancouver Washington...
As described on the on the Wikipedia.org site @
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Vancouver
"It is possible to tour the fort and it is also the site of a large fireworks display, said to be the largest west of the Mississippi River, on the 4th of July."
I have been to Fireworks displays all over the country for the Fourth... Chicago was lame, about 20 minutes long, Houston Texas claims to have the biggest Land based Fourth display in the nation and it was only 15 minutes long!
I was going to the Fort every 4th since i was a kid and never have I seen better but I have not been home since 2000 and I miss the 4th there, we have people from all over Washington and Oregon show up, over 75,000 thru the gate to the reserve National monument park in vancouver and 100,000 plus watching from fields all around and maybe 10,000 or more roof watching the Columbia river, maybe more I am not thinking about Portlands populataion watching from there roofs!
It's an Hour long and our Grand finale is ten minutes long compared to most show across the Us being only 10 to 15 minutes long. and all you hear boom, boom boom, like crazy for that last ten minutes!

If you ever get a chance to get up by Washington State, you should check out Long Beach, WA.... it's a weekend long party up there for the 4th! ...And a non stop party the rest of the year anyways.
