I'm going to a biker BBQ over my godparent's house, then more than likely run away and go find my best friend. This guy that I really like and his brother are coming over to watch fireworks with me and my family. Knowing us, we'll probably be the ones sneaking off into the shadows together trying to scare everyone or just being stupid.

Go to the mall with some friends and have like an hour or something to get all dressed up for your big day! {of course everything you wear must be red;white;blue} Get jewlry, clothes, purses, EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING! Then once all done, have a fashion show at the food court, then finally have lunch{chinese to throw everyone off with your american style, or w/e u want}, then go see a movie, then go see the fireworks with all your buds that look so fly! Sounds like a blast right? GOOD LUCK!! luv~Carly ps, i'm considering doing this myself...

I don't usually do anything for the 4th of July. I havn't really even gone to fire works for like the past 2 or 3 years either. I might just go out with some friends and party hard and wake up with the biggest hangover in my life. lol!

If you wanna do something really nice, that will make you feel fulfilled, donate some time to a worthwhile cause. You could volunteer at a shelter, or the Salvation Army. You may not feel like it is fun, but the difference you make in connecting with another life will make a profound difference in your hearts outlook on life. Take care.

I am going to join the parade probably protesting for gay marriage rights, or prairie restoration, or against the war. Just find some group or cause you support and march down the street for it.Get dressed up, grab a friend or more, and go to town! That's what independence is all about.
