I totally agree with you - its the happiest time of year for me and my family. Even in the summer if I watch a Christmas movie it makes me wish that Christmas was longer then what it is to have more time spent with family and baking christmas cookies and shopping and singing christmas carols :) You just got me so exicted for Christmas 2006!!

Christmas music is about the only thing I like about Christmas anymore.
It was more fun being a kid and waking up Christmas morning to see what Santa brought.
Now I just spend a lot of money on presents, cook 3 different meals and clean up afterwards.
yay...

i do...i start thinking about christmas music and all the lights and colors and start to just look forward to it at around February. I grew up very poor so the whole getting gifts isnt a big deal to me...i luv the shopping and giving gifts thou and...just the whole feeling that christmas brings. i'm in california so i've never seen a "white christmas" so hopefully one day i'll go to new york or tahoe and finally get to see snow at christmas time..i just love christmas I CANT WAIT TILL DECEMBER!!!! :-)
BUT...i dont really care for the long lines, i think this year i'll be doing my shopping on line. i was born on 12/22 and brought home on christmas day so when we left the hospital the staff put me in a big stoking, my parents used to say i was there xmas gift..that was 27yrs ago and my mom still has the stoking...so sweet!

I do love Christmas and Christmas music. When I was little I could be found with the big 1970s ear phones on listening to Christmas music in the middle of summer. My parents made me put the ear phones on since they didn't want to hear it in the middle of summer.

I love Christmas because it affects all five senses. Seeing the christmas lights, smelling the cool crisp air the night before it snows, hearing the Christmas carols, feeling the snowflakes fall on your face, tasting the hot apple cider...
Man, I sound like a Hallmark card. I really don't care though, because Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. I can't wait for December.

I believe it is just because is the opportunity to celebrate each other. Usually on a birthday is only one celebrating and receiving gifts of love, while on Christmas is everybody treceiving nice gestures and celebrating one birthday. Also, is a happy season, because is when everybody has the hope of seeing their family. Is when everybody give time to their beloved !!

I don't really like Christmas. The holiday is associated with bad memories for me.
