Can anyone remember when firework night was one night nov 5th? Nowadays there are fireworks being let off all through october to december. I think fireworks should only be sold 2 days before and none after. It used to be a treat, when I was a kid now its not the same.Whats even worse is having my dogs cowering permanently for two whole months. Maybe they should make people apply for a free licence to have them on any other night than nov 5th?

When did it become part of Halloween to destroy peoples property, throw eggs and hurl abuse for no reason?

Trick or treating has now been banned in our area due to the elderly being terrorised.

Why do the minority ruin it for the rest of those who do it innocently for a bit of fun? Doies anyone else find it a shame?

I was amazed last night. A parent brought his 2 kids to my flat for trick or treat. They have never met me - what ever happened to not taking sweets from strangers! and why should people have to give sweets to someone elses little brats?

Last night there were so many moms bringing around babies dressed up for trick or treating. These kids were cute as hell....but they could barely walk...and some were in strollers. They couldn't even get the candy out of the bowl I was holding...the mom had to pick it for them....they were just standing there drooling on themselves. What is up with that? These babies don't give a crap about Halloween! They won't even remember! I can see maybe dressing your kid up and taking cute pictures...but why take them trick or treating? And what is up with these big *** teenagers ringing my doorbell? They would take the biggest handful they could and run off, usually without saying thank you! I thought trick or treating is for kids....not babies...not teens....but then again, I am not a mom...so maybe you could shine some light on this for me. Thanks!
