One might say I have kind of a love/hate relationshiop with Christmas! As kids we were all given everything that money could buy, but then later were made to feel guilty about receiving so much (in addition to other abusive, mind-twisting games one might endure when living with a miserable, severly mentally ill mother). However, now that I'M the mommy things are much different. Yes I fall victim to the materialistic ways of the world, and almost always overspend (which is really easy when you're a single mom), but what really makes our Christmas special is the strong bond of love I have now with my baby boy Justin (16 yrs!!) and my precious little princess, Alexandra (10 yrs). Unfortunately I do struggle each day with major depression, but it's worth every aching minute of it when I'm constantly reminded of how NOT to celebrate Christmas! God has granted us such a beautiful gift in becoming parents, but at the same time He has given us a tremendous responsibility!! Sometimes the holidays can be difficult when trying to keep up that "happy face", but knowing my kids will never, ever experience even ONE DAY like those days that were spent with "mommy dearest", is all the incentive I need to keep on, keepin'-on, for the sake of my kids happiness. Breaking this long, generational chain of abuse and dysfunction, never would have been possible if it weren't for whom we are celebrating each Dec.25th! If it wasn't for the birth of Jesus Christ and learning how much He loves us and wants for us in our lives, I'm afraid to even THINK what could have become of me (not to mention my children)! Soooo, long-story-even-longer (sorry); my answer is... Yep, I DO like Christmas!

I like Christmas time, but I'm so tired of the commercialism. Just wait until the day after Thanksgiving when you'll hear stories about people being trampled over for that stupid Tickle Me Elmo doll.

I love Christmas. We're starting traditions of going to mass, lighting the Advent wreath, seeing lights, etc. It's the most wonderful time of the year.

What are you getting for christmas? i think of i'm getting what I pronounced above. 4. What are your traditions? each and every Christmas Eve, my grandpa has all the infants encompass him as he reads twas the night previously christmas. 5. What do you do on christmas eve and yule day? Christmas Eve is at my grandparents and that i open some provides from all the relatives. I come homestead and that i'm getting a pre-christmas day present- (pajamas lol) and yule day is at my homestead and that i spend it with my mom, dad, and brother. I awaken.. open stocking.. and then I open the huge present that I have been given! As does my brother. 6. What do you like maximum approximately christmas? Oh.. gosh.. it somewhat is demanding.. nicely i like the lighting fixtures fixtures, the interior decorations, the song, and lots lots greater.. yet maximum of all.. i like the ambience and how it makes me experience.. the blend of each and every little thing merely makes me cheery. I somewhat have seen sooo many christmas video clips.. that exhilaration that christmas is linked with rubs off on me.. 7. What are your widespread songs and carols?
