As most of you know, last year Corporate America heavily fought Christmas. Holiday trees, Holiday lights, Happy Holidays. Schools around the nation have been phasing out holiday celebrations (Christmas, Valentine's day, Halloween, etc.) for a few years now. My question is: Who's behind it? What group of people are we trying not to offend?

I've got three weeks to get this together. I've thought of a scavenger hunt, but about half the kids will be younger and probably won't get that. I'm trying to think of things that go with the theme. Ideas? Thanks!

I think i know the meaning of Chanukkah..eight-dayJewish festival of lights held in december commemorating the rededication of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalam in 165 BC
..dose Hanukkah mean the same festival..
I think it is the same ..I don't practis Judaism.my faith is Islam .I am trying to understand why it has two different spelling.( no disrespect what so ever against Judaism ) a Jewish friend argues it is a separate holy day..but he cant remember
