You had to ask didn't you? OK here goes...Anything from Thanksgiving on till New years..I love the whole dang season. From being with family members to buying gifts putting up Christmas decorations putting up the tree, driving around looking at all the beautiful Christmas lights, all the great food and watching everyone open their gifts and looking so surprised and everyone hugging and making New Year wishes that we will probably never keep, watching Christmas movies on TV and we can't leave out all the baking for everyone making new recipes, A child's face as they sit on Santa's lap, Sledding in the snow all the church plays seeing new faces at Church, watching my horses gallop in the snow playing, feeling good and wanting to do more for the underprivileged and wondering why we don't do that all year around knowing every gift is Christmas to them. all that is what i love about Christmas..if i could put it into one word i would pick MEMORIES....God Bless (then we sit and wonder why the Holidays make us SO tired)

The rush leading up to it, looking for gifts, going home with armfuls of bags. Seeing everyone in a good mood and all the Christmas lights around town. On the actual day, opening presents, watching the faces of family as they open theirs. I just love everything about Christmas. It's magical and the only day when most people get along. Love the sales afterwards !

I love hearing the story told of the birth of Jesus read from the gospel of Luke, All the music, the crisp cold air, the beautiful Christmas tree and all of the decorations, candles burning, the smell of cookies baking, people gathering together.
And being still and listening to the quiet on cold winter day after a snowfall.

It really is the most wonderful time of the year - frozen pink cheeks, bundling up in warm winter clothes, knitting scarves, warm fires. The most uplifting, friendly, cheerful music you'll hear all year long.

People are happier, friendlier. They laugh more freely, sing carols just because, are more willing to lend a hand because that's 'just what you do,' during the holidays, at least.

There are fairy lights everywhere, and we're all excited to be with one another. You talk to family for the first time since last year, and it's like nothing's changed since the best times in your childhood.

Everyone's decorated, there are garlands and trees and strings of lights and candles in every window, and it makes you feel like you're a part of something bigger, sharing this with other people.

We set aside our differences during the holidays, and give freely, laugh without reservation and just - feel glad. It's amazing, and I love seeing it happen each and every year.

no longer me. I hate the commercialism. I hate the hoopla and all the high priced present giving that some people sense the ought to take part in. i might like it extra desirable if it have been plenty quieter. I have no family members, so I have fun quietly with friends. I hate seeing Christmas timber in October. I enjoyed it as a infant. i think of it would mean extra if all of us in basic terms celebrated quietly. Confine it to each week or so in December, I say. God knows my heart. i'm going to besides be uncomplicated. i like Jesus, yet i do unlike what Christmas has grow to be. people eat like pigs, circulate to events, placed on, etc. "a fantastic life" is depressing until the final minute of the action picture. permit the thumbs circulate down.

I was baptized last Christmas eve, so Christmas has a brand-new meaning to me. Praise God!

The lights, hot chocolate, the stunning clear stars in a deep crystal sky, going in to the cozy, candlelit house bedecked with evergreens and Williamsburg-style fruit, snuggling with the husband, a good book, and a handful of cats in the blanket-piled bed...

I love the general feel of the season....the cold weather, the snow on the ground, carolers singing, streets and houses lit up with Christmas decorations. It never seems to last long enough.
