i don't know about you but i would see what he's interested in
it depends on your budget and his personality/ hobby / interests
it can range from fancy chocolates to special hard to get electronic gadget/ program or sports equipment to jewelery or accessories ( think pens, watches or cuff links) or even antiques or first editions of books.
i think a guy would appreciate a tie more than a teddy bear unless he's into collectibles then that's a different matter

i would only give a guy a teddy bear if he was holding a best buy or circuit city gift card...and even then i would expect the bear would get thrown away.

Maybe depends on your age-my son has a stuffed gorilla in his car a girl gave him 10 years ago -- she's been his wife for 3 years now! Dam gorilla scares me everytime I look in the car, I keep thinking there's a cat or dog in there! And they're on the 3rd car!! Stuffed critter travels with the new car!

I would reconsider, most guys do not like gifts that they consider to be cute. the idea to put a gift certificate in his paws was a good one, or get a big scary one to put in his car and scare Moms with might be cool, like the lady said her son did.
The more macho the present, the better they like it. Electronics, sports stuff, gift certificates for movies, or music, or pizza or fast food rate high. Another high rated idea was to buy a big cheap bowl, and fill it with individual servings of snacks, like popcorn, pretzels, nuts,potato chips, Fritos, cheetos, whatever he likes, and put a Blockbuster gift cetificate in the middle, and call it "movie night kit.'

I think,guys wont get much attracted on teddy bears.Usually gals are more attracted on teddy bears.You can better give something else.Like wrist watch,shirts,jeans,t-shirts,shoes,etc.,

It really depends on the individual guy and your relationship to him. I've known many people who gave their boyfriends/fiances/husbands a stuffed toy, but they had meaning behind them.
