Although my Grandma should be looking forward to Christmas and her holiday to Spain for 11 weeks, but she is down in the dumps and can't bring herself to look forwards to.

I know what she means... Like there is nothing good ever going to happen again; I think most people get it.

Any tips to perk her up a bit?

Thanks, xxx

I looked at something very disturbing, yes it was much worst than 2girls1cup. I am not going to say what it is because it's just too disturbing, and i need to get it out of my head. How do i get it out of my head?

And if you're really curious about what it is, i am not going to tell you. Telling you what i saw is just...I can't explain it, it will make you shake for the rest of your life, yes i am shaking right now, i just can't believe i saw that.

How would i get my mind off of something i saw that's very disturbing?

And if you are really curious, just email me and i might tell you, maybe having more people know about it will relieve myself?

My company has received a Christmas card from the Indian embassy. As I speak the best English in the company, my boss has asked me to write a thank you note. Anyone got any suggestions?

If someone chronically smells bad, is this an automatic deal-breaker? Or will you hang out with them anyway, if you like them in all other respects?

Since I have attended college I have been able to mature a lot. I used to be in drug treatment and now that I am out I have been "finding myself." I have always been outgoing and bubbly, but I don't have a "goth" look now and dress a lot nicer and keep myself clean and neat. I am afraid some people are going to think I am being a snob when I am not trying to

I had a young girl who looked to be around 9 or so, acting like a complete B**** to some random people in the super market. The yelling at the cashier to "bag her stuff NOW!" While her mother stood there with a stupid half grin on her face.

I know times change and kids grow up with different things and act much different from way back when. But it seems more and more kids from that age group are more brazen than ever. Mouthing off obscenities and curses to people everywhere.

Notice that too?

(please state your age, with your comment) I am 21

I have a friend who found a homeless man who was sleeping in her shed. I live in Alaska and it gets pretty cold up here. She was trying to be nice and thought he could help her and she'd let him stay in her basement. What do you think?

I met a friend online about 2 months ago. We've pretty much been talking every day or every other day and vibe on different levels. He's talking about wanting to meet in person and has even offered going half on a plane ticket to see him and offered for me to stay with him. However, I'm leery, is there some "unwritten rule" about meeting people online? We are both grown adults, same age range, and ambitious. the trip would be planned sometime end of Jan or end of Feb by that time we would have conversated a little more, but I would appreciate ADULT opinions on this question. thank you.

My co-worker is one of those people who jump from money making scheme to scheme and he just tricked us making us think we were getting together for Christmas. Then when we get there sure enough his "business associate" breaking out some videophone for sale. What a crock. That man needs to give it up with those damn schemes. Get a real job!

In the past whenver i gifted a gift-card, the envelop or folder that came with the gift-card had a space to write the amount, which I wrote, or sometimes the salesperson themselves wrote it! Urrghh!!
My kid is gifting her teacher a gift card. The gift card is held in a plastic pocket around the neck of a small stuffed toy. Should I find a spot near the "from", "to" and discreetly write the amount?

So question is, when gifting gift cards, should the amount be mentioned somewhere, or does the recipient call the 800 number, enter the 16 digit number and find out later?

"Social butterfly" and "class clown" are the best I have, and they are definitely not good enough. I want something that means a person who does what ever it takes to be the center of attention, whether that's excel at sports or be a hypochondriac.

I work with some real zingers! Often I have to deal with people that complain constantly that they have no money, some medical situation, blah, blah blah. I am so sick and tired of listening to their crap all day. Why can't they just shut up and do their job. How can I handle these crazies without becoming one of them.

At a local deli, the guy takes your change and throws it in his tip jar then proceeds to say "thank you very much praise allah". if you try to take your change out of his jar he curses at you and tells you never to come back.

part 2: i work at a dairy queen and we have tip jars. one time a guy was about a buck short so he reached into my tip jar and started taking out quarters to pay with. i stared at him and told him to put the money back. whats wrong with people??
