My company has received a Christmas card from the Indian embassy. As I speak the best English in the company, my boss has asked me to write a thank you note. Anyone got any suggestions?

Since your boss has asked you to write a note, you may want to write something like "Thank you so much for the wonderful Christmas card. And we wish you all a very Happy Holiday season"...

I don't think it's necessary to write a "thank you" note for a Christmas card. But, you might want to reciprocate with an appropriate card to them have everyone sign it, but don't thank them for the card inside the card you're sending. You don't send a thank you card for a birthday card from someone, so the same goes for a Christmas card. Next year, though, try to send one first so it doesn't appear you're just responding .

Why would you write a thank you note for a Christmas card? It's not necessary.
