So here's the deal. Without going into too much detail (I'll try):

1. She (well, actually someone close to her) came up with the skeleton idea. When it worked on her, she recommended it to me -- in private.
2. It worked on me, and I was so impressed that I wanted to tell everyone else. I knew that if only people knew about it, it would be a success. I said as much TO her, but she said she didn't think they'd believe it, and that was why she'd only mentioned it to me in private.
3. She and I have slightly different "methods," but they work equally well.
4. I decided to figure out a way to let people know about this whole thing, in a subtle way, where they wouldn't feel pushed. (I knew that if they felt actively pushed, they'd never go for it.) So I went out of my way to draw them into being interested on their own. My effort paid off -- People became interested. And when people started trying it, they saw success.

Actually, I didn't really get a get well card, I got a thinking of you, just wanted to say hello card, but it's for a friend who was in an accident and I'd like to say, glad you are okay because it could have been much worse, but she's not exactly okay and has a long road to recovery and may never walk again. Any ideas?

or
turn up dressed already for meal and dump overnight-bag in hotel room, go straight for meal.

My roommate tried to falsely accuse me of smearing diarrhea on the wall in the bathroom, which was not true. That was a brown stain from the walls sweating, & she called me unsanitary, but she left her dirty panties hanging over the shower curtain bar, & when I took a shower, her panties fell on me.

I ask people to stop clicking & popping their gum, & they refuse. & then they tell their friends, "I GOTTA pop my gum!" I hate that habit. It's rude, disgusting, & hurts my ears.

I'm a French writer and would like to hear lots of stories, either funny, comical, sad, romantic even ?, dramatic etc....between landlords and tenants.
I had a landlady who used to enter in my flat while I was out.. and watch TV !!!!
or a landlord + wife who used to come in without knocking at the door and go to the 'little room' (to be polite) in the tenants apartment !!!!! , or some others would decide to come and paint the shutters very early on a Sunday morning, with no previous notice !!! that's the sort of stories I'm looking for .. let's have fun ! MERCI

seems like many do not pay attention to how they state their question and how others trying to read it could possibly understand what the hell they are trying to get at.

My neighbors across the street are really great people, and they invited us to their son's 3rd birthday "bash" last summer (had loads of people there). Why I am wondering if I should or not is because my son is turning 6 and he aready has 10 children from his class at school that are definately going to come (plus their parents) and I only have a 6-person dining table and a fold up card table that seats 4. The parents will either have to stand in the kitchen or sit in the livingroom. My house is 1400 sq. feet and without the neighbors coming will still have amost 30 people in it. Then if I do invite those neighbors, the neighbors on the right side of us are going to know and get their feelings hurt possibly. You see how I am? I just worry about everything. I can't afford to invite half the block, so my husband says don't worry about inviting the neighbors, just stick to the guest list of kids from school. Do you think he's right? I'm a basketcase. lol

Thanks

The word "lady" is often used interchangeably with "woman" regardless of the character of the person.

Do you do that? If so, is it because the word lady is easier to say? Or, is it because you believe that all women are "ladies" by virtue of their gender? (e.g. "bag lady")

Likewise, does being male automatically make one a gentleman?

P.S. Most of my friends are married so I can't ask them!
