do they really like themselves so much that they dont want to be someone else. I find to have this trait a really difficult one esp. if i want to please someone and be nice to someone. Usually i find people who are "themselves" as arrogant and pompous. Maybe thats just me and my "friends" but what have u to say.

Besides masturbation? List something if you were caught on hidden camera and were embarassed or appalled that everyone knew about.

I know some people who are very serious about which way the toilet paper should be presented in the toilet paper holder. Me, I prefer over... It provides you with easy accesss. Under, it hugs the wall, and is harder to grab. How serious are you about how the toilet paper should be placed in the holder?

Normally, I am the listener and I really take pride in being that way. Sometimes though, I would like to talk. Not necessarily about me, simply express my opinion or tell my story. When I talk to some people, the response I get is , "oh ya". "mmhm". They don't get involved with what I have to say. Sometimes they don't even acknowledge what I am saying. Perhaps sometimes I'm not interesting enough to listen to but it can't be every single time. How can we encourage people, particularly our children to listen to others and respect the fact that they aren't the only one who has something to say?

I love writing letters and cards to family and friends. I write at least 5 a week, if not more. I don't always receive that many though. Is the art of letter writing dead? What is your experience in this department?

I work at a kids (ages 6-15) program, and our building is located in a downtown area. There is really no place for the kids to play outside, except in the parking lot. My problem is, I'll go outside and kids will set their things on my car (backpacks, pop cans, coats, etc.), or the kids themselves are sitting on my car. They throw footballs and it'll bounce into my car. It's so aggravating, because I just bought a "new to me" car and had over $1,500 body work done to it just 2 weeks ago. My coworkers don't really care because, really, they drive beat-up cars with numerous dents. And those dents were probably caused by the kids! I also don't want to start yelling at the kids and have my car be a target either (I'm outnumbered and I can't guard my car all day). I can't park anywhere else. The kids just see absolutely nothing wrong with throwing their crap (or themselves) on my car.... is there anything I can do?

If someone you have a fair amount of respect for suggests you do something, has a very strong opinion on it, but doesn't necessarily pressure you (as they could give a crap what you do, really, your decision to do this doesn't affect them).
You go out and do this thing, knowing nothing about it save what they've told you.
It eventually turns out to be a bad decision, or something bad comes of it, or there's a lot more work to this decision than what they told you. Do you blame the influence?

I'm 24 years old but I look younger. I'm working at a clothing store until I graduate from college in a few months. I'm married so of course I have a ring and cutomers are always saying "your married?" How Ooold are you??" It gets really annoying becasue this happens all the time and I just smile and say "I'm 24". They always respond "I never would have guessed, I thought you were about 17". This was fine the first few times but now its getting annoying. I'll be graduating in a few months and entering into the professional world and I'm afraid I won't be taken seriously because of how young I look. My husband and I want to start a family in about 2 years and I really don't want people to look down on me thinking I'm a teenage mom...and one of my bosses said that when I first started she thought I was lying about my age and looked up my file to see if I was

My question is, how should I handle it when people ask my age? It makes me feel like a child. Am I just overreacting about it?

A close member of my husband's family passed away very unexpectedly. He was in his early thirties and a really great person. We don't even know the cause of death yet. I've had a couple of people say some really odd things to me and made me very uncomfortable and even annoyed. I'm usually very tolerant of weird remarks and I don't get offended easily but this death has upset me alot.

all day. I have asked her 4 times to please stop and have had a supervisor get involved once. The gum was quiet for a week but its back today. She is doing it on purpose at this point to piss me off or in some way to say "Your not going to stop me from chewing gum". I am not the kind of person who gets bothered by alot of things but I cannot tell you how distracting and annoying it is. Does anybody have any good ideas of what I can do ?

I have an ex that was there for me the other day as I was going through something extremly difficult in my relationship. The x's girlfriend actually talked me into a calm person agin. Wellthe ex tried to push up on me when the girl went to the store and I completly stopped it, and then today under the pretense of "checking on me " came to my office and actually said the words" this would not have happened if you were with me" and tried to deter me from seeing my other half tonight to go out with them. In previous years this person was always the one that I ran back to but I have been over that now forever and value our friendship. I have no problem putting them i thier place- but it bothered me because they are extremly attractive and during hard times things like that can be tempting. I am freinds with all of my ex's though and I think i souldnt be put in positions like that. What would you do?

Does anyone else think that we're edging closer to Orwell's idea of the future? Internet slang has become "newspeak" and webcams have given us a way to watch each other; a sort of neo-Big Brother. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm getting sick and tired of trying to read Q&A's that read like a cryptoquiz puzzle. U Kno wut i meen? UGH!!! I'm only 19 and even I'm afraid for our future.
